Canon E-P100 Easy Photo Pack

the canon selphy photopack I purchased recently is great. The quality is very good and the unit works very reliably and I printed out a whole lot of photos to send back to Scotland on my recent trip. Amazon's price was excellent and the postage very fair at about $11 to Australia and I willcertainly use them again.They seem to set the benchmark for website efficiency and professionalism and many other rivals should look to that standard. I shop based on quality of the goods first and price second and it is a pleasure to get good quality and good service and I am happy toshop with companies that respect me as a consumer and offer superior product.

When I bought the Canon Selphy printer, I did not realize that the only ink that could be used was combined with the photo paper in a pack. I was skeptical about how that would work etc. Wow was I wrong! This is the handiest way to print pictures. The combination photo paper/ink found in the Canon E-P100 Easy Photo Pack is very easy to use...easy to change when needed...and not much more expensive than going to the big box store and printing your own.

I like this product with the printer. High quality prints for basically 3 cents per print so you can't beat it. Its great for shows, parties, birthdays, reunions, and other events. The only downfall is that if you take pictures that have a lot of dark colors, the ribbon will run out before you finish the prints so out of a 50 pack, you may only get to print 45 pictures before you are out of ribbon. But you still can't beat the price in the long-run. Easy to use, no inks to refill or change because the ribbon is with the paper. Pick this over ANY ink jet printer/paper product in the postcard size.

Important: the ink/paper packs are not compatible between the ES-series and CP-series Selphy printers, make sure to get the right one. This pack (E-P100) is for the ES-series. For the CP-series, you need  KP-108IN .The most cost-effective paper and ink pack for the Selphy ES-series, comes down to about 26 cents per photo right now. The box contains two 50-photo ink/paper packs. The ink and paper are in the same cartridge, which if you have seen the previous models, looks like a CP-style ink cartridge glued to its full paper tray.Everything you need to print exactly 100 postcard-back photos.The cartridges come with a small orange tab lock in place. You need to remove it before inserting into the printer as the instructions say. The cartridge won't go in all the way otherwise, so you can't damage the printer, but you risk having the ink film cut due to its tension and therefore the entire 50-pack ruined. Don't ask me how I know.These dye-sub packs print exactly the number of photos indicated, no more, no less, no matter the color coverage on the photo. The "ink" cartridge has a roll of 4-inch-wide film with 6-inch-long sections of each dye (yellow, magenta, cyan) followed by a clear coat, repeated exactly 36 times.When printing, each dye layer goes over the photo and transfers the color to the paper using heat. Sublimation is vaporizing the "ink" from the film in controlled amounts, which is then deposited onto the paper. The printer lets you see the photo at each stage which is neat. The final layer is a plastic clear coat that makes it smudge-proof and water-resistant.The result of this process is that the film inside the used ink cartridge ends up with a pretty accurate "ghost" of the picture left in each color layer. That is why the cartridge can't be reused, but that also means the photos you printed can be recovered from a discarded "empty" cartridge. If that is a problem then I suppose you can yank the film out and dispose of it some other way (not heat as it may cause the remaining dye to vaporize in the air you breathe).

I ordered the photo packs just before Christmas. The shipping was fast The picture printed on my Selphy ex40 printer are great. It may not be the fastest, but it gives great pictures. The print cartridges are very easy to use and you always get great pictures because there is no ink to buy. You know exactly how many prints you will get. Great product at a great price.

I have printed about 125 or 130 prints so far with this product and have been quite pleased with the results. The prints are colorful and vibrant and the colors seem true to the subject. The photo packs performed flawlessly in the printer with no paper jams and no other problems. To this point I am very satisfied with this product. I will add more to this review as I continue using the product in the future.

I have used this product for several years. I think it is fantastic! The color is consistent from the first picture to the last. I love being able to print my own pictures. They have a protective coating and can be mailed as a postcard.

I have to admit that to date this film pack has given me no problems regarding the quality of prints it produces. I am happy with that. My only disappointment with this purchase was that the package I received from Amazon was about two months past the expiration date printed on the package. I am aware that the package is probably good well past the expiration date, but this puts some pressure on me to use up the product before it goes bad, rather than holding it for occasional use as I had originally intended.

Friends comment on the beautiful pictures and the lovely "home-made" cards from those prints. Highly recommended.

Non è la carta adatta per la mia stampante. Sono stato ingannato dalla descrizione, che non ho letto con la dovuta attenzione ma che non metteva bene in evidenza la compatibilità con i vari modelli di Selphy. Restituito ad Amazon che mi ha subito rimborsato. Ho già ordinato una confezione adatta perché il prezzo è molto buono rispetto ai negozi tradizionali, la qualità è buona ed avere una piccola stampante sempre pronta in casa mi fa molto comodo

Ich habe einen Canon Selphy ES 3. Für diesen nutze ich das Fotopapier und bin mit den Ergebnissen sehr zufrieden.Entgegen den Druckerkollegen, die mit Tinte auf teurem Papier drucken, und dann oftmals in der Qualität schwanken, bleibt hier die Qualität der Ausdrucke dauerhaft konstant gut. Der Druck selbst dauert zwar einen Moment, da jedes Foto 4 mal durch den Drucker gezogen wird um die verschiedenfarbigen Folien auf das Papier zu bringen, und zusätzlich noch eine Versiegelung, aber das nehme ich für die erhaltene Qualität in Kauf.Seit über 5 Jahren nutze ich den Drucker und nehme ihn mittlerweile auch in den Urlaub mit, um private Urlaubspost (Die Rückseite des Fotopapiers ist einer Postkarte nachempfunden) zu verschicken (okay, manche APP kann das auch - aber günstiger ist es da auch nicht ! )Zusätzlich drucken wir regelmäßig Bilder für Omas /Opas und Uromas aus.Alles in allem sind wir mit der Qualität sehr zufrieden !Daher gerne 5 Sterne !

I own a Canon Selphy ES30 photo printer which I find very useful for my scrapbooking hobby. I searched around the internet for the best price for cartridges and Amazon was the cheapest. The cost per print works out about 20p which is relatively expensive compared to 4p per print offered by some online print services. However, it is very convenient to print what I want immediately and quickly with high quality results. The ink and paper are together in one self-contained cartridge that slides into the printer, so no mess. I found that I had to 'waste' a few prints the first time I set up the printer as I was adjusting my print settings to get the best colour results from the prints. I recommend turning up the saturation and brightness a couple of notches on your Selphy printer as they have a tendency to print rather dark. I will purchase again as I do scrapbooking for a hobby and like to have my prints ready straight away to add to my layouts. I also find it useful to print out pictures of my daughter to send to her Grandparents who don't have access to online digital photos on Facebook etc. The prints come out nice and clear with a gloss finish and are very durable. I print straight from the SD card of my camera to the Selphy – this gives the best results.Advantages:Instant photo printsNo messing about changing ink and loading paperNo jams or ink blotchesHigh quality print comparable to that of photo labDisadvantages:Relatively expensive per print cost.

très satisfaite:"cartouches" d'origine et prix compétitif.J'adore cette imprimante photo, qui réalise vraiment d'excellentes photos, que l'on peut tirer tout de suite, avec des zooms ,cadrages, réglages personnalisés , c'est super pratique, surtout quand la famille ou amis repartent avec les souvenirs le soir même ! elle a 4 ans et fonctionne toujours impeccablement, je la recommande fortement...!
