INDISPENSABLE
I worked on Range Rovers and Rover V8's for twenty years, 1970's-1990's, and thought that I would go back in time to recapture my youth, namely the seventies, where we had a completely different world with none of this digital nonsense social media hysteria. We had Wings (especially the 'Ram' album by Paul and Linda), George Harrison, John Lennon, Ringo Starr, Cockney Rebel, Del Shannon, The Buzzcocks, The Clash, Roxy Music, the avant-garde androgynous David Bowie, The Sweeney, The Professionals, Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em, and we had pen and paper, we had fountain pens, landline telephones and Range Rovers, Rover P5B's, Rover P6B's, we had the classic Rover P6B 3500 S (all with that wonderful Rover V8 lump). This glossy, informative well written little book says it all, for anyone wishing to purchase a first generation Range Rover, and the little book is inexpensive, a must for people not knowing how the early Range Rover ticks, especially the transmission 'clunks' which could lead the inexperienced to believe that the car is stuffed! And what about the Range Rover's 3rd diff, all thanks to Spen King, the genius that he was. I think now that my home-built time machine is finished, I'll just dial in the 1970's, and press the 'return' button. Here goes, I'm going back, I'm on my way. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1............
