I bought this and used it when I was in an apartment. It worked well and had options to adjust ringtone, which was nice. Now that I’m in a house, I will honestly opt for a video option at some point but I’m still using it for now and it’s still good.

It took me less than 10 minutes to open the box, set it up, plug it in and voila! It's working. I hope it lasts. When the receiver is plugged into the wall, it even allows for you to still use the outlet's electricity (to charge your cellphone, using a USB cord) . Go for it! So fun! (Ding dong is what I chose 🎶) *Addendum* One of the plug-in receivers went off at 4 AM tonight when no one had pressed the button. I've only had it for ~ one week. (A Google search yielded MANY reports of random ringing from wireless doorbells for a variety of reasons.) Unfortunately, even though the manufacturer claims to offer tech support, there's no listing for how to reach them.

I have an old home built in 1916 that needed a doorbell. My dog is very effective most of the time, but I am hard of hearing and needed more. The doorbell works well and provides many options for sound from normal doorbell chimes to various tunes. I was able to easily select something I liked that I can more easily hear. The only negative I have is that the screws that were supplied for more reliable installation were absolute garbage. They were for installation in drywall but were too soft for driving into wood. Yes, I drilled proper pilot holes, but the screws were just too soft. They almost broke. For me it was no big deal to walk across the street and get stainless steel screws. Most items that supply installation hardware supply better fasteners. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase.

Works well out of the box. This is a good solution for temporary doorbells or extra doorbells. Range is not that great, but you can certainly find an outlet not too far from the door. Love it that there's an outlet on the bell.

Plug the receivers right into the wall they don't need any batteries The trigger button comes with selfl stick adhesivebso you can mount on the outside of your apartment, or you can use mounting kit supplied, where you can permanently mount it on the outside of your house. Great product for the price works great..blink camera door chime is crap.. ket seeing people come and go on captured video clips..so now one ringer in the living room the other in the hallway..
