How is it possible to study for the listening part of the book without any audio? Using the transcriptions? At least Macmillan could offer the audio at the website. Otherwise it is not possible to follow the book when preparing alone for the exam.

It's an IELTS book but it also offers general Enlgish knowledge. If you are looking only for IELTS preapration, then there are other options more suited to your interests.

it was the book chosen by group of our three teachers on Pre-Master program in London for IELTS preparation. relevant with lots of useful material.

Nel mio percorso di preparazione all'esame Ielts, devo dire che questo libro sta risultando molto utile. La somministrazione di esercizi in tutte e quattro le sezioni d'abilità dell'esame futuro, aiuta molto nell'esercizio costante in tutti questi campi. Soprattutto la sezione del listening, risulta essere molto d'aiuto, presentando alla fine del libro la riproposizione testuale dei dialoghi sentiti al momento dell'esercitazione, elemento davvero utile per ricontrollare l'esercizio stesso e abituare l'orecchio alla lingua parlata.
