Q: Does anyone have a suggestion to help with heel slippage? Every time I step, my heel comes up.

They only come wide so those of us with narrow feet have the same problem. I don’t mind it. Took them to the shoemaker and he didn’t have the brass clips to make the elastic ends shorter. Because if you take off the brass ends that came with them you Can’t put them back on! Wash them, I’m hoping mine shrink.

Q: Are they machine washable?

I clean the sides of the soles with a damp cloth. The fabric can be brushed or wiped with a damp cloth. I would not put these shoes in the wash. You can remove the insoles and machine wash those.

Q: Are these roomy in the toe area for someone who normally wears a 7W?

They probably are. I wear a5 1/2 to a 6 they were very roomy but probably should have ordered a 6. No 5 1/2 we’re left
