The Husky and His White Cat Shizun: Erha He Ta De Bai Mao Shizun (Novel) Vol. 7

I wish to express discontent at the way this book was not delivered as requested. I had specified a delivery address with the order. On 9th Dec 2024, Amazon emailed to inform that the book would be arriving and the carrier [DPD carriers] emailed with a time frame for delivery. They failed to turn up although I was on the premises and avidly awaiting them. Their email informing ‘that they ran into a difficulty’ followed and then another email informing ‘that they had missed me’ which was mendacious as they never tried to deliver to my chosen address in the first place. Their issues did not prevent them from leaving the book at a hub [geographically not too far away] situated at a petrol station even though it was adjacent to a very busy dual carriageway which would have been tense with traffic at the time and had to be accessed through a one-way system. I fail to realise why that would be an easier delivery point. They have, in my opinion, misrepresented their manner of service to you, Amazon, and shown no regard for your client (me). That this coincided with my having a health problem which made it very difficult for me to go even a short distance to collect the book will explain why it was Very Inconvenient. The pick-up window was very brief (around 48 hours) so waiting until I felt better was not an option. People have reasons for their preferred delivery choices but the carrier did not respect that. Please excuse my disgruntlement, Amazon, but I thought it right to let you know.The story continues to be magical. I am enjoying Volume 7 so much. Such a dark adventure as a posse of Sect Leaders and cultivators assault Rufeng Sect’s holy mountain and face terrible ordeals in a place where the words ‘rest in peace’ have no meaning; where the residual resentments of the dead are used and their corpses forced to arise to make war. It is gripping. As Mo Ran and Chu Wanning confront the bad guy, they find an even worse villain behind him until the skies open and the ultimate misfortune occurs. I never fail to be impressed by the fierce imagination of it all.The Five Stars are for the book and the author.

Great book, happy with delivery

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been following this series since it’s release and truly enjoy the story however I’m not satisfied with Amazon’s product quality, book came horribly damaged the first time and the second time it came a bit less damaged. If I’m gonna pay I might as well pay for good quality so I returned it and will buy it from a different retailer.
