I bought this for a Caribbean cruise during very hot summer months. It kept a charge for a long time on the highest setting. A shopkeeper asked what it was and when I let them feel the air, they were amazed it worked so well. I can't tolerate high temperatures very well and this fan helped me enjoy my onshore excursions. It's not as noisy as I thought it would be. You can also set it on a table or nightstand when using.

I really got this for cooling an older laptop that heats too much. There was this tiny battery fan I'd use sometimes, but I thought something like THIS (and especially with its shape and design) would be perfect. Running off USB is a plus as well. It worked as planned for the laptop. No issues now. I'm actually impressed that for a portable fan this actually blows some pretty cool air. Settings TWO and THREE work ok, but the first/lowest setting doesn't serve much purpose unless you need it to run until you can recharge it. My only real "issue" is that for some reason it randomly shuts itself off--and it does this even when it seems the charge is not all that low. I don't know why it does this, but that's the reason I can't in good faith give it a 5-star. For a mini, rechargeable, portable, personal fan though, pretty nice for the price. Nicer than I expected.

The fan charged quickly and it has held the charge for more than a week and still at 100%. The fan during use has more than exceeded the seller's description. Multiple ways of using (strap, desk, belt clip) have been excellent! Very impressed with the air flow and sound level and it has a premium look about it (time will tell how it holds up) Overall I am very happy with the price and performance!

I never had a belt clip fan before so I thought I would give this a try. Perhaps I was expecting a bit too much out of it for its size, since the output power of the fan is left to be desired. At low settings you'll hardly notice a breeze if it's attached to your waist. At your neck area it's ok, but still not worth the "real estate" it occupies. What I also wasn't expecting is that it's quite loud even at low settings, and everyone around you (including yourself) will definitely know it's on. At high settings it's quite distracting, and I would imagine only using it outdoors. When I say "loud" by the way, that's due to the fact that the fan isn't terribly balanced, so the fan blades are a bit wobbly and create a lot of vibration. High quality fans have smooth bearings that restrict vibration, but this isn't one of those. Although I ultimately won't be using this for its original intended purpose, I did have a backup plan for it in mind just in case I didn't like it. I have a manual defrost RV-Style fridge that benefits from a little air circulation. This fan has a perfect square form factor, no exposed blades, has an in-take shield (really nice) and runs on a battery. So, it's perfect to use as an air circulator. You can find RV fridge fans for twice the price that aren't that much fancier than this unit, and you don't really need a ton of air circulation to get the benefit of mixing the air inside the fridge. Ironically, it's really good at that role than being a personal fan as it was sold. I would look elsewhere if you wanted a personal neck or belt clip fan. I would highly recommend it as a fridge fan, however.

Long ago, I used to be able to withstand humid temps 80° to 90°F, but all that changed when I moved to the PNW. Now 24+ years and a local, I melt in the heat. Cue to perusing the big A for a handy gadget that will keep me cool on an upcoming vacation. I first looked at the fans that curved around the neck but then thought it could fall off at times. Then, the handheld fans..... nope. I saw this one and it's versatility in hands free wearing, or on a table w its kickstand, appealed to me as well as 3 speeds and being rechargeable = no batteries to fuss with or purchase. YES!! FF and using it on vacation. Easy to wear, small enough to carry in a tote. So far, I've only needed to use the 1st speed -lowest- to keep me cool. I haven't used it for a length of time so I cannot attest to the longevity of the charge. Fwiw, so far it's been a handy gadget worth trying. I'll update if it turns out to be a piece of crap. Update. It works!!! Kept me cool! 👍 4 stars to 5!

I purchased this fan in anticipation of an outdoor event in San Antonia TX in July. I read the descriptions and reviews of several different fans and decided on this one for a few reasons. One is that several others indicated 3 hours of usage which would not be helpful for all day outdoors. Also, other fans needed batteries to be changed. This fan is a rechargeable battery that lasts for well over 3 hours with actual time depending on fan speed used. Most times a low setting was sufficient. With the lanyard around the neck, I liked that the fan is hands-free. It is very lightweight so I actually would forget that I was wearing it. This made it convenient to wear all the time and only turn on as needed. I also like it has a display showing how much battery life was left. It charges via a USB port which is very convenient to charge using a portable battery charge when out and about. Lastly it is rather quiet when the fan is on.

This fan has kept me cool on some of the hottest days, and the multiple ways of using it made it workable indoors, outdoors, and hands-free. Running it while the fan was either around my neck on the lanyard or clipped to my waistband or shoulder bag straps allowed me to turn it on and off easily as I was moving about and carrying things. It's also great as a desktop fan, using the integrated stand. Speeds 1 and 2 worked well for me, even in the hottest conditions. It's not silent; it's noise levels are equivalent to most small desktop or personal fans I've used. I gave it 4 stars because of the battery life indicator. The fan jumps from 45% power to 0% without warning. I've adjusted since the first time it happened, but be prepared for that possibility when you use it. That said, the 100%-45% power range lasts for approximately 8 hours of sporadic use.
