Q: Can these be put in the washing machine?

No.I mean, you could but I'm certain it would ruin them. They are VERY easy to wipe down with a damp cloth though!

They are ok for short trips. I have had them in the car with cold and frozen foods they did ok for around 1 1/2 hours. Don’t know about 100 degree temps tho, we never get over 85 very often
