This is a gem of a find. I have actually been looking for blue salt for some time and am with such gratitude that Eupherbia has got it to us. Blue salt is special in that it has more potassium naturally occurring. The flavor is sweeter than other salts with light undertones and feels cooling. You barley taste the saltiness that you do with so many other brands. I kept finding myself adding more because I didn't get that salt taste I am used to on certain foods. Yes, not all the crystals are blue but that is just how the salt is made to be. Would you prefer it get color added to accommodate those that want to eat entirely blue rocks? This salt has an excellent balance of minerals, not an overdemanding taste and just looks absolutely beautiful when using. I have tried so many different salts all across the world and this is by far one of my favorites if not actual favorite. Forget the "Blue Salt's color mirrors the age when dinosaurs roamed the Earth." It mirrors the people of that area of the earth, the current people roaming this earth. Besides that point that dinosaurs are not proven conclusively, at all. The grinder mechanism isn't good honestly, at all. It grinds them to big and doesn't adjust properly. This review is for the product itself and being such a good product I don't care much for having larger chunks and even taking out the salt and crushing it to powder if I must. The price is truly expensive compared to other salts but for such a unique product I am willing to spend double just to try it out. This salt is truly a rare find, a gem to enjoy while not allowing the saltiness of this earth dry you out. This is the definition of "diamonds in the rough."

Good product! Good flavor and I purchased it especially to increase my potassium intake as well as to reduce sodium intake.

This is very intense salt. And the flavor seems very pure. The grinder filled with blue salt crystals that I received today is, however, marked “Best Before: Mar 16 2025. Today is Dec 12 2026. Not returnable, but I can probably convince a customer service representative to accept a return. I will do that, despite the fact that salt without additives or processing, which this is, is virtually indestructible. It’s used to preserve meats, and many other foods because bacteria can’t survive in salt. Think Jamon Serrano or pickled herring. (Okay, don’t think of pickled herring!) This works for me but not the bottle I ordered for my sister. Let’s see when it comes tomorrow.

A little goes a long way! Definitely gives you the salt flavor “punch” in cooking without being pure table salt.

Definitely different! Potassium chloride rather than high sodium. A spark in flavor for sure. Clears breathing and adds vitality. Supposed to help heart and circulation. Works for me. Try me in 28 years when I’m 105 years young! Oh, and, my life long Tinnitus seems reduced.

There was an abundance of salt dust, fine salt and small salt crystals making it totally unusable for any salt mill. Plus it is non returnable. I sifted it to get as much of the small salt powder and ground like size crystals as well as salt dust out and there was well over 2/3 of the bag unusable salt for any salt mill. This salt is a DEFINITE DON'T BUY! This is a picture of the amount I sifted out and some that didn't go through the sifter are still too small for a salt mill to grind properly. Being unaware at first and put it in my salt mill and it made a complete mess of it and it took quite a while to clean all of the stuck on salt from the grinder as well as the complete bottom and to get the salt dust out of the the salt storage reservoir. Addendum: It is now October 1, 2025 Apparently Euphorbia after seeing my negative review contacted me and offered to sent me a replacement bag of this salt which was a big surprise to me. It appears that their customer service is excellent. I received the replacement bag on September 26, 2025. I haven't opened the bag to use it yet as I still have plenty of salt in my electric mill. I'll keep you posted on the results. They said the previous bag I received was probably damaged from handling during shipping. We'll see! It is October 4th now and I did have a chance to use the replacement bag of this salt from Eupherbia and this bag was considerably better and quite different than the first bag I purchased. There was much less salt powder, dust and small pieces of ground like salt and much more larger crystals. The salt crystals aren't as large as some other salts but this replacement bag of salt works well in my electric salt mill. Now the only thing to consider is if the expensive cost is worth it to you personally.

I like that the salt is lower in sodium without compromising the flavour. The purity of the salt and the lack of microplastics also caught my eye. The blue colour is so pretty sprinkled on my salads! The bag of salt is much more economical. For $2 more, you get more than double the amount of salt. I bought the bag of 227g of salt and filled my own grinder, it cut the per unit cost by half. I value the health benefits of this salt.

We absolutely love the taste (cannot tell the difference from salt) and the fact it is a healthier option.
