Stanley BDS6006 Accuscape Garden Shears

Great pruners. They are light weight. The best part is that the handles are a little wider than most other pruners. They are very comfortable. Aluminum handle pruners are typically 0.75 inches wide. These are 0.92 inches wide. The handles are a little flatter. The hand stop a is also a little higher which I think also adds to the comfort. The pruner lock is comfortable easy use in your right hand. Some pruners you can use a finger to unlock them when using them in your left hand. If you are using the Stanley pruner in your left hand, you will need both hands to unlock the pruner. I do not have a good way to evaluate the titanium coating or sharpness.Pictures of the Stanley next to a well known brand are below. The difference in width and height is easy to see. The Stanley has the pruner lock on top which makes it difficult to unlock with your left hand.

Love these scissors. Great for use in the high tunnel pruning tomatoes.

Very nice pair of pruners. Not five star because to call them 1 1/2 inch is a serious stretch.
