Work really good once you figure them out.
So I read the written instructions and it seemed straight forward. I have two garage door openers and I was programming two remotes. The one remote (for my wife) I had the bottom half of the button opening her garage door and the top half of the button opening my garage door. Perfect. On my remote I had the bottom half of the button opening my door but somehow when I programmed the top half of the button I had it opening mine and her's garage door. What I had to do was clear ALL the memory from my garage door and reprogram it with her remote and mine (you'll also have to reprogram the remote in the vehcile if you completely clear the garage door opener memory. Now I have both remotes working correctly. Not at all hard to do once you figure it out. And these newer digital remotes (Security + 2.0) seem to have a much farther range (Both these remotes and the vehicle remotes) vs. my old Liftmaster analog remotes. Good product and performs well once you figure it out. I was expecting the worse for the written instructions when I read the reviews here but my written instructions were actually pretty good so I don't know if they changed them or not. Thumbs up.

Might require a bit of patience for programming, but they do work
The written instructions weren't very helpful. I studied a video (posted to this product page, IIRC) that demonstrated the programming steps & eventually had success. The remotes themselves are great. They're compact and work every time, with just the right amount of "click". I'm just glad I had the patience to keep trying!

Easy programming.
Out of the bag and programmed within one minute. A huge value over the manufacturer's.

Works great if you know the trick to programing
Super convenient size, take it with you anywhere without having to bring a giant remote.I had a lot of trouble getting this to work until I realized that I wasn't programing it correctly. As other have stated the instructions are incorrect in one key statement: you have to hold the second button much longer than 9 seconds to activate programing mode. You will know you are actually in programing mode if the red light lights up without flickering/flashing for about 1 second after you hit the button on step 2.Good luck!

Good Replacement unit
Good replacement units for worn broken overused controllers. Comes ready to program with batteries pre-installed.

Pain to program
If you have only one opener and program only one button, when you press the second button it'll stop working. Both buttons had to be programmed against the same opener, it's finally sticking no matter which button is pressed.Less than a year later, I've given up on these. Even programming both buttons it would eventually stop working. When the opener got cold, it didn't work until it warmed up. I've moved on to a different opener.

Works
We have older garage door opener. It was not easy to program but we did finally get it and work as they should. I really like the size of them. That is what sold me on them. Just have patience when programming them. And get really close to the opener when doing so.
