This is beautiful and amazing -- It has the correct number of cardinals for my husband mother and grand parents, 2 things 1; bird were tangled together 2; I think the top should be black not orange

These are so beautiful at night when they light up...

These are exactly what they say they are - metal windchimes made with plastic red cardinals. You can enjoy the sound of the chimes all day long, and then the lights at night when the birds light up, using solar energy. They are very cute and the perfect gift for my friend who loves cardinals.

What I love most about these solar red birds is that they are not made of a clear plastic, but rather they are red. So during the day you see the red birds hanging. At night there is a light inside each bird that lights up nicely. In addition there are four metal tubes that hang and truly make these gentle wind chimes. The nice part is that if you don't like the chime sounds, the tubes are separate from the birds...so you could cut the string on the tubes and still have the fully funcitonal solar birds...although I do not know why you would want to do that. THey are much prettier than in the picture. At night they light up a very deep red color. I am not disappointed at all. If you want a pretty solar chime in your yard, this is a great choice.

This wind chime arrived quickly in a plain non-descript box. It was very well packed. It came partially charged and each cardinal illuminates nicely. There is a LOT of red color to this set of chimes though. I would have been happy if the tubes were natural silver and it would have highlighted the red cardinals during the day better. As it is the birds get lost amongst the long red tubes. The pitch is kind of tinny, but I expected that with thin metal tubes. It looks great at night, but Like I said, the birds get lost in the tubes during the day. Great price though. I would have preferred fishing line instead of string though because the string will not last long under the heat of the desert southwest. Easy to replace once it goes though. At under $18 it is worth grabbing one.

Living in rural Virginia, we get Cardinals all the time.....My wife ( Peg) delights in feeding them (and of course, ALL Birds--even Crows!).So, in honor of our brilliant feathered friends, I decided to get the YF-TOW Cardinal Solar Wind Chimes !The array is easy to set-up;Just lay-out the red translucent 'Cardinals' with their lines clear of each other...Turn the switch on the underside of the solar cell to 'On'....Hang it up where it will get some sunlight..... and come twilight... LIGHTS ON!Thus far we have enjoyed the night-time Cardinal display... I have seen it turn off automatically the following morning, having apparently lasted all night.NOTE: I have seen similar Solar Cell wonders start out with a long lighting burn time, then taper off.You may get a long burn time at first, but it may shorten by few hours over time.Unless you plan on staying up all night to see it; this is not a real drawback.UPDATE; AUGUST 28, 2024: These have completely STOPPED WORKING.They had lit-up for 5 months, then simply stopped.No amount of sunlight, reset attempts had no effect....FIVE MONTHS......Not very impressive lifespan.
