Horrible product, even worse customer support.
Warning, as other reviews state, these products are horrible quality. The screen shuts off and flickers all the time, I am 10 days passed the warranty period and the seller offers no support. Please do not purchase from them.

A very good deal for Geeks
I am a newer ThinkPad aficionado and I am learning as I go - I am also coming from an E series - but I've used a lot of laptops in my life and in this price group, this is one of the most solid pieces of hardware I've ever encountered. The keys are good, the screen is decent and I like the placement of the touchpad (I use it mostly for scrolling). Funnily enough, I am wildly impressed by the hinges. I never paid much attention in the past, but now I will. I've had hinges be a main failure point on other brands and that is simply not a worry here. My E series failed due to a known issue with the charging port and since it was also bargain refurb, just buying another seemed sensible and I decided to give the elevated model a chance since the price was basically the same. This is a mighty step up from the E series. The CPU/GPU/RAM aren't really where the differences are, that's all "as expected"; it's a lower-mid-range CPU/GPU that actually packs a punch and has enough RAM to do 99% of productivity tasks with no issue and while you won't be playing today's AAA titles, the adjustable DMA for the GPU does allow for light gaming. What really separates this L series from my previous E series is the aforementioned solidness, and by that I mean it could be used effectively in self defense while the E series would be a distraction at best. So, if you're a geek in league for an affordable and fully functional laptop for tinkering with code and often find yourself playing 20+ year old MMOs and select boomershooters from yesteryear, this is a great option.

Best used for browsing internet and editing documents (similar to a chromebook)
If you wanted to know if it can game at all, you are looking at the wrong device. It can run the game Peak at a lower resolution and lower settings compared to steam deck, all the while not even hitting steady framerates in the lobby. This device has more than enough power for what I wanted to use it for, but I still feel like this device was way too costly for what it is, anything over $200 is too much for this device. I do not recommend buying unless you plan to use this device like a chromebook (browsing internet and text document or mild spreadsheet editing) It wasn't too dirty of a refurbish job (the air vents were clean and the keyboard only had grime in one missed spot). The hinge is actually better than I was expecting, but the screen has an awful viewing angle and low brightness unfortunately, but looks decent enough when viewed at the correct angle in a dimly lit area. The 1920 x 1080 screen is decent enough for the size of screen, just not amazing. The internet connection feels laggy and slow, but that might just be because of the slow processor. Touch pad + buttons feel cheap but work well. The nub mouse in between the G, H, + B keys feels okay to use. The only major problem with it so far is that it had Microslop's windows 11 on it. 40 minutes later, after installing linux on it, I can confidently say it will work nicely for computationally non-intensive document work. Mostly due to its smaller size compared to my desktop.

Laptop
So far, no issues. The quality is pretty good, the screen is clear, the speed is fast, bright colors, battery life normal. My only disappointment is that the keyboard does not light up. I thought I was buying a laptop with keyboard lights so I can use when there isn't enough room light, but that wasn't the case - I bought the normal laptop by accident. I don't want to go through the process of sending this back and getting another laptop with keyboard lights, I'll just use this one.

Good choice for me!
I had previous great experience with Lenovo quality laptops. I took a chance on a refurbished because the quality of hardware my software requires continue to climb. So far it has been everything I needed with the exception of the battery quality/life.

Lap top screen blacks out.
The laptop screen blacks on and off when it is moved. I believe it's some sort of shortage and will be returning it soon. I just hate to be out of a laptop.
