The author really does an amazing job in assuming no prior knowledge of linear algebra, making it perfect for beginners. However, it also includes advanced concepts, making it a valuable resource for more experienced learners.Looking forward for the next series! 💪🏼

I LOVED THIS BOOK! I am currently studying applied mathematics for my Computer Science Masters degree and needed extra help for an A.I project I'm working on. I was recommended this book after chatting to someone who read it on my discord channel and said it really helped him because it does not follow old traditional and outdated maths book, but it quite fresh and written as if you're speaking to a knowledgeable friend rather than your old maths professor. I hope there is a Volume 2. 5 STARS!!

Trust me when I say it is very difficult to find a book that truly breaks down this subject matter into bite size easy to understand chunks. This book does just that. It breaks down a complex subject into a simplified format. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!!! *****

The book is well written. What I found great about it, is the fact that it goes straight to the point, explaining in depth topics that one actually needs when doing ML. First and foremost, leaving reviews on amazon isn't really my thing. However, I have been SO frustrated with how much time I have wasted trying to learn linear algebra over the last month that I felt compelled to leave one for this book; it has been a breath of fresh air.Up to this point, all the content I have encountered on the topic comes in the form of either an overly simplified course from one of the many learning sites out there (you know the ones I'm talking about) or a 500+ page text book written by a college professor who uses language to impress upon us and/or their peers how brilliant they are. Teaching is not complex. The process should look like:* Here's the concept* This is a definition of WHAT it is (using simple language that a 6th grader can understand).* This is WHY the topic is relevant and important.* This is HOW it is applied correctly, and this is how some people apply it incorrectly.Finding this book was a breath of fresh air. The author masterfully applies the process I described above using every day language that you would use with your buddies (humor and f-bombs included!). If you are looking for a resource that elegantly combines breadth and depth such that you can understand the fundamentals of linear algebra to ultimately apply them to your machine learning projects, this is your stop. Bravo, Mr. Brasil, I am looking forward to your forthcoming books on calculus and stats/probability!

I am a data scientist who was looking to review some concepts but I found some explanations that were better that any other book I had read. I believe people with all kinds of levels can enjoy this book! Looking forward to the third book!
