Touching & Heartbreaking & Utterly Beautiful
If I could give this book 10 stars I would. Five stars doesn’t seem like enough. I’ve rated many books as five star reads over the years and this book feels like it deserves so much more. It’s timeless and it’s beautiful and heartbreaking and literally makes you feel all the emotions! There was warmth and love. There was devastation and sorrow. There were times when I had to sit it down and just breathe for minute before I could go on to the next chapter. It tore me apart, then put me back together, only to rip my heart out a couple more times before it was done. The authors voice and this story were enrapturing. The characters were so relatable and it felt like I was in the story with them. I wanted to be in the story with them. The book very much gave me Nicholas Sparks vibes. It was fresh and engaging. It left me wanting more. Paige Toon does not dally when it comes to wrenching your heart and soul right out of your body. She gives you love and loss and has you asking for seconds with a please and thank you. I absolutely loved this book and look forward to reading more of her work.

tore my heart to pieces in the best way
Format: Kindle (ARC)/Audio⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really liked it, read it!🌶️ Rating: 0"Seven Summers" by Paige Toon tore my heart to pieces in the best way. It is a closed-door romance, and I rated it 3.5 stars. This isn't your typical summer romance. It weaves through the lives of Liv, Finn, and Tom, bouncing between the past and present, and it's filled with so many twists and turns that my emotions didn't know who to root for.Liv's character development, shaped by a tragic accident, is truly inspiring, while the slow-burn romance between her and Finn is so palpable that you can't help but cheer them on, despite all the hurdles. Tom's arrival complicates things, but it adds depth and realism to the story, making it impossible to put down. This is my first time reading/listening to Toon’s writing, and it is such a great experience. She perfectly captures the rugged beauty of the Cornish coastline and her characters’ emotional turmoil. The portrayal of disabilities is done with such authenticity and care. The alternating timelines kept me engaged and made the story all the more compelling. Liv's growth over seven summers is beautifully portrayed, making this more than just a love story—it's a tale of self-discovery and resilience.

Thank you to Paige Toon for a wonderful reading experience
I am a big fan of Paige Toon and I can hardly wait to read her new books every time. Her new book, Seven Summers, didn't disappoint me either. It reads wonderfully smoothly. You empathize with the main character Liv and the ups and downs of her story. The two male main characters are different, but you simply have to like both. The narrative with the shifts between past summers and the present was beautifully told and towards the end, there were tears once more.I can only recommend this book and, of course, I'm already looking forward to the new one next year!!

Emotional & Worth it
I had a lot of bittersweet moments reading which was my cup of tea. The book reminded me of my Senior high school teacher’s motto: “It’s better to be loved and lost than to never be loved at all.” I had to re-read the last few chapters when the climax happened that forever changed Liv, Tom, and Finn’s lives. The playlist and dramatic lines in the book were madly heartfelt and tear-jerking.TMI: In April, Paige Toon replied to my story and sent me a DM to visit St. Agnes as it was the setting of her latest book to be released on May 22. It gave me butterflies and my wanderlust soul said yes and dragged my dear friend downhill and uphill with a seaside walk on the West Coast of England. Though I felt disappointed not to get inside the Schooners which was the Seaglass in the book because it was too early, it felt surreal to immerse myself in the real set-up of the story. Hands down to Paige for how detailed she researched and mentioned sculpting and sand artists. Thank you for sharing your books.
