Great lifts
I originally bought two of these as a gift for my son. He loves them. I was just waiting for a time where I needed them myself before purchasing two of them. The time finally came when we bought a new china hutch that needed felt pads under the feet. These lifts worked great for lifting the hutch one side at a time, allowing me to easily put felt pads under the feet. And now finally, I was able to lift my contractor's table saw slightly up on its rolling platform two legs at a time to insert pieces of 1/4" plywood under the feet. This put my table saw at the perfect height so that it was a fraction higher than my workbench allowing my sheet feeds to land on my workbench rather than bump into it. I know that I'll also use these to hold doors at the proper height for screwing the door hinges to the wall. These lifts are terrific.

A third hand
Looking for a little pick-me-up—literally? This lifting jack is a fantastic addition to any tool collection and truly acts like a third hand when you need it most.I recently purchased one and compared it to a cheap Chinese knockoff version of a "labor-saving arm," and let me tell you—there’s no comparison. This jack is stout. The build quality is excellent, with solid construction that feels durable and reliable. Each jack can support up to 330 lbs, making it a powerful tool for a variety of lifting or leveling tasks. I was so impressed, I’m already planning to buy a second one to have a complete pair.Highly recommended if you need an extra hand on the job!

A good tool to have.
Makes it easier to hang heavy items. This came in handy when I was swinging doors at work 7’ x 4’ wide solid wood. No problem with this tool.

didn’t know how helpful this would be
aside from the obvious construction applications- lift appliances to easily adjust leveling feet- lift shop equipment off the floor to put on blocks or dollies

Where were you all my life!
I am a 74 yr old woman with arthritis in my hands. With one of these I am XENA Princess Warrior. With two of these I have the strength of Hera, queen of the gods.I had a monster huge and heavy cabinet in my unheated shop, loaded with ceramic tiles. The wooden drawers had swollen and in addition the floor was collapsing under it, so it was jammed against the wall and in a sink hole. There was no way the drawers would ever come open. I sent for two of these on Amazon. There was just a little space under one side of the cabinet in the back. I slipped one of these into that hole. I was afraid I would not be able to squeeze the handles together, but it took just a little squeeze. The back of the cabinet started to rise!! I put the other one on the other side. The whole back of the cabinet moved up and I could slide some wheels under it. With the cabinet level, the drawers started to open. I was able to empty out the ton of tiles I had in the cabinet, as well as the heavy drawers. With wheels on all four corners (the little 5 wheel squares you get with a moving kit), I was easily able to move the cabinet out of the sink hole. My husband came in and was astounded. He was afraid he was going to have to move it with his back.I feel absolutely confident with these. Once you pump them up they stay up. I was even putting my hand under the cabinet to position the wheels. You can let them down a little at a time. Why haven't I had these all my life!!??I ended up buying 4 of these. I cannot say enough good things about these hand jacks. I have lifted equipment in my shop that are hundreds of pounds. They only require about 1/4" of clearance but they can go up to 10", or higher if you put wood under them. Don't get cheap ones! When I have a multi hundred pound piece of equipment pumped up to put wheels on them, (even though I put blocks of wood under the equipment for extra safety), I don't want the jacks to suddenly fail. These are heavy duty and I trust them completely when I have my hands working under the equipment.

Definitely nice to have
Expensive but super cool tool. It really holds up a lot of weight! However, the price stopped me from giving it a 5 star review

Held steady even on heavy furniture
I’ve used it multiple times before reviewing. Helped me repair my smoker grill wheels by lifting it up while I repaired them. It also lifted a heavy chested drawer so I could sand the bottom of a foot. Held perfectly and the drawer was full thus heavy

As good as hoped for
Great tool if you need one. I use it for lifting furniture and appliances. Never bought or used the lower cost versions of this mini jack, but the Irwin is strong, functions well, and should last a lifetime.
