Samsung A55 5G Unbiased Review (Compatibility Issue)
The Samsung A55 5G is a fantastic phone for the price and what you get. The amount of features and the functionality is incredible. The color of the phone is fantastic, it looks like an IPhone from the design, very well designed. The only issue I had with this phone seller is that the compatibility was not what it said in the description. The sellers description of unlocked is not true. I use Cricket Wireless and this phone was not compatible. Not saying that if you use Cricket Wireless that the A55 is a bad phone, I am simply saying that the sellers info about the phone and what you are using as your carrier may not work with this seller. I am getting this phone but from a store in order to get the phone unlocked rather than getting scammed by "unlocked" in the description and regretfully seeing it's not compatible with my carrier. Besides compatibility, the phone performance and speed is surprisingly good compared to my previous phone the S21 5G. The battery life is very good and lasts longer than the S21 5G by a long shot. The phones cooling system is on point and doesn't heat up like the S21 5G. I was very surprised by the processing power being much more powerful than the S21 5G. I have used a Motorola phone the Moto G Power 2021 in the past and the battery and performance on the a55 is similar and better in some respects.Edit: Don't buy this phone from this carrier, the phone arrived with the seal slashed open (bad sign) and the phone itself corrupted my SIM card and so I had to get it taken care of and now my SIM card is working and I still have my old S21 5G but at least I found out more of how to carefully choose a phone not just on Amazon but also in stores.

Works as expected
I bought the phone to replace my old flagship daily driver, which broke. It is a great value for money in terms of my usage. It does work on most networks in the USA, which is good. The phone has a premium metal and glass sandwich feel for the cheap. The lilac color is amazing, and the camera quality is exceptional. The phone is almost as fast as my older flagship, with some minor hiccups here and there, but it is already good enough for my personal use.Highlights:- Fast charging- Premium materials- Works everywhere in the world- Snappy performance- Good packaging

Seal was broken and Malaysian version. Not Latin
I ended up returning as the seal was broken on box plus it was Malaysian version, Not Latin. That doen not really concern me as much as the seal was already broken and the product opened. I did not turn on, so I have no idea as to its status. The color is nice.

So Far So Good (2 Days Ownership)
Switching from A71 (great phone, but water damaged and couldn't buy again). After cracking my $1K, curved edge, S9+ flagship purchase one month into owning it (owned many phones, dropped many phones, cracked only one screen), I couldn't go flagship because all the phones were curved, so I bought my first mid-range. My world changed: did you know midrange phones have hardware that is guaged for efficient battery use? Did you know midrange phones are only marginally lower in performance and features than flagships? Did you know if you don't treat your phone like a portable gaming device, you don't need a flagship? I do now!Midrange is where it's at. Samsung doesn't want to sell the A55 in the US bc it has just a few extra upgrades that make it too comparable to the S23FE (which they want you to treat like the midrange now) at half the price. A55 is slightly better build/specs and aluminum case compared to US offering of A35 (plastic case). I won't get into specs. You can google that. I'll review the complaints I saw:* It glitches/freezes. Only seen one minor scrolling glitch (jumped three times then caught up on chrome page scroll), no freezing.* Battery overheats/charges slow/drains fast. Nope, nope, and nope. Day 1 was a weekend, all day texting, podcasts, surfing, google maps, music streaming, yt streaming, amazon review, photography bananza from 630am to 8pm at night. Went from 100% to 30% on day 1 full usage with no charging boosts (it learns your usage and adjusts battery/power settings as you go). Did not overheat (bc I didn't game on it for 2 hours straight!!!)* Camera isn't as good. Can't tell, don't care. It's a phone. Love the new nightography feature! I can see my dark lit photos now!I'll update if I find anything I hate or notice. Otherwise, good phone!

Signal is weak and quits working after it falls
I thought I was upgrading from a A51 Galaxy to a A55 Galaxy but the signal was worse than the A51 and then I had bought the best case I could find for it because it does fall out of your hand or off the dresser. It fell out my pocket and the screen went black. Had it repaired with a new screen 4 days later it stopped picking up touch sensor so now I can't get in touch with Samsung or the people that sold it.

Battery life sucks
Cool little phone but the color in the screen isn't that great or vibrant and the battery life sucks...Not even 20 minutes and it's down to 79 percent
