I really like this gun safe. It has all the features I want: a lighted number pad, an internal light, the door opens almost 90 degrees for easy access and many more features too numerous to mention here. Everything worked perfectly. The number keys, key lock, and finger identification scanner worked perfectly and flawlessly everything time I tried them. Please keep in mind that my safe is new and I’ve just started using it. I don’t know how it will perform over time. All I can say for now is that I’m very impressed with the safe and would definitely buy again.What are would really like to address are the comments from past reviewers concerning the easy of use of the manual that comes with the safe. Several reviewers stated that the directions were hard to follow making initial setup a bit of a problem. I want to go on record and say that I had absolutely no problems with the safe’s manual. The directions were easy to understand and follow. Setup of the safe was quick and easy and went without a hitch. In short, I had no problems reading, understanding, or implementing the instructions. Everything was explained to my satisfaction. Perhaps the manufacturer updated the manual based on all the complaints in the reviews; I do not know. All I can say is I haven’t had any problems and found nothing to complain about either with the safe or its manual.

Biometric gun safe's are coming down in price, and they are far more difficult to break into. I purchased this latest model to replace a key entry gun safe that's not as safeg. It's easy to setup and allows for more fingerprint entries than a gun safe will ever need.

I ordered this for my husband because he has a handgun he wants in the house for protection, and we have two kids. I was wary of ordering something that is a random Amazon brand, but this is good quality and he is pleased with it. Having a gun for protection but having it unloaded for safety seems to defeat the purpose, since most of the scenarios I can imagine needing it would require it being immediately ready for use. This safe checks both boxes nicely. I bought this after we had a house fire and my husband had to dig his gun out of the wet/nasty/toxic debris in our closet because he worried about people breaking in to look for things to steal. (I was skeptical because we live in a nice enough golf course neighborhood, and who is evil enough to take from people who just lost everything? My neighbor sure did chase off a sketchy car that was parked a couple of houses down late at night just watching me try to save things though, so I guess I’m the naive one). This safe definitely removes a lot of the things that made me apprehensive to have a gun in the house. If you want a gun safe this is a good one!

Great product, the only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is the keypad only goes to 5. If it has 1/6, 2/7 ... Other than that this is a great deal.

Great gun storage

The media could not be loaded. I was somewhat disappointed that build quality didn't stand up to the other safes in this size / price point.While the instructions were sparse, the setup of both pass code and fingerprints was simple and fast.So, the let downs were - the cover's edge is left plain with no inward return. A little disconcerting - see photos. There's a noticeable gap along the open edges of the cover. Not that my gentle probing led to anything. The cover is 2mm thk. Sturdy enough for sure.Most of the disappointment came from the safe's opening mechanism's performance - see attached video - all hope of a silent open and weapon deployment is gone when the safe sounds like a gong being rung when opened. Then the lack of a complete opening of the cover could possibly hamper weapon access. You also need two hands to securely close the safe. It even provides a pair of helpful "press here" stickers.So in short:+ simple straightforward electronic setup;- flimsy *looking* cover with gaps- closing requires multiple locations (the only way to close it with one hand is to slam it shut- this likely works for most)- makes an audible sound when opened;- does not open completely.This safe is being "returned for refund", decision made within a couple of hours of operational familiarizion.Lastly, that the packaging showed this was clearly opened prior to my receipt of it was the icing on the "nope" cake.

I was excited to finally use this case, but I cannot get it open. There are keys included but no keyhole. The instructions do not correspond to the case. It is too late to return it. Definitely not any good options.

Product was just as advertised and seems well made.
