I started using these forever ago, but I haven’t had one in a while since I lost mine in a move two years ago. When I saw this one from Fresh Up, I was so excited about it. Especially once I saw the price, less than $5 seemed like a steal!The quality of the silicone case is great. I love the ridges on both sides of it, letting me keep a really good grip. When you’re using ice rollers they will always begin to melt eventually. But, with these traction ridges on the side, I don’t ever lose my grip when it gets a bit wet. I have had smooth rollers slip out of my hands in the past, more than once…I am taking away a star though for two reasons. As much as I love the case, I do find it a bit more difficult to maneuver than most others I’ve had. When you’ve filled it with water, it is a little too easy to pop the case open, separating the halves and spilling water out. The first time I used it, I accidentally pinched it open twice, spilling water all over my floor on my way to the freezer. This isn’t a huge deal, but it’s a little irritating. Many other rollers I’ve used have a good flush fit so that they don’t ever slip apart easily. Also, the plug to the top is a little difficult to use. Again, just in comparison to others. More than once, I get stuck pressing the plug in over and over till I finally get it to fully stick in.After using this for a month, I’ve gotten a lot more gentle with handling it. It could also totally just be a user error. But, it’s just slightly inconvenient. However, for the price, it’s still more than worth it. I’m so happy to be using these things again. It’s the best way to wake up in the morning. It helps bring down my sleepy puffy eyes and cheeks, while the cold helps wake me up and get me nice and refreshed!(My cat really wanted to lick this thing like a popsicle and I couldn’t get him out of the picture frame. I gave up and just rolled with it.
