I was prescribed a high potency retinol earlier this year & my dermotologist told me that I needed a high quality facial SPF to protect from skin damage. He recommended this brand. Thankfully, the price is in our budget and the quality is great! It goes on smoothly, soaks in nicely, smells good, and keeps my skin protected and moisturized. It's not too heavy, which is great, especially in this super hot summer.

The media could not be loaded. Been using CeraVe lotion for years and wanted to try this moisturizer after using Burt’s Bees facial moisturizer for years. Bought it mainly for the hyaluronic acid and SPF, which my Burt’s Bees didn’t have. I’m in my 30s and starting to notice wrinkles and I love that this will prevent more and also protect my delicate facial skin that burns super easily. It’s nice and moisturizing and it has a light sunscreeny scent, but not at all overwhelming. My face burns easily and it has not burned with this, so I’d say it’s pretty effective. It goes on easy and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. I have noticed sometimes there’s a bit of a white residue that crops up, but it’s usually if I put too much in a particular area. Rub it in well and there shouldn’t be a problem.

I started using Cerave products several years ago upon the advice of my dermatologist. I've always been happy and satisfied with the products. About a year ago I started adding a couple drops of castor oil to the facial lotion before applying. The difference in my skin has been amazing. My skin has tightened up considerably, especially in my jaw area. I am almost 70 and the skin on my face is smooth, bright, and tight. I also use Cerave products on the rest of my body, always combined with a few drops of castor oil. My eczema has almost completely disappeared.

it’s a good moisturizer no doubt, i’ve always loved cerave since i started getting serious about my skin & i was a bit scared to try this since prior i regularly used their Night time moisturizer as a daily moisturizer since my skin gets greasy very quick with thicker heavier moisturizers but this ones really good!! it definitely has a more sunscreen like appearance & texture but it blends into the skin really nicely & has no white-cast at all. be careful how you apply it around your eyes though because it can & will make your eyes burn at some point of the day most likely, thats one of my only issues with it. my other issue with it is that with having sensitive skin prone to acne/clogged pores this NEEDS to be cleansed off every night with at least a water based cleanser or i will get clogged pores & break outs :( otherwise its really great tho!!

Update: I am really starting to like thus product now. I don't notice the suncreen part as much and my skin looks and feels good when using. Upgrading to 5 stars.4 stars for being more sunscreen like than moisturizer like. When I used for the first time wasn't expecting to like it but turns out I do even though it seems more sunscreen than anything else. I do think they could work on the texture. I am going back to basics on my aging breakout prone skin - let's call it a reset - and this does fit the bill as a basic item. If you want anti aging punch this won't be your product but if basic simple skincare is your thing this is great. For me it's great for no makeup days and I can reapply it later in the day with no problem. Not sure why there are so many complaints about white cast...there is not that much zinc oxide in the formula seems like. At any rate this has not been a problem for me. At a later time I may advance to a more complicated anti-aging moisturizer but for now it's good.

I rarely used this since I'm black I don't really need moisturizer but if you're looking for affordable moisturizer this is it...it also contains SPF the same ingredient in sunscreen so if you purchase this you don't really have to purchase a sunscreen. One thing I have noticed is that when apply too much it leave your face white since it's hard to rub into the skin so I will advise you to use just a little top it's thick doesn't have any scent or whatsoever I will start using this quite more often so I'll come back and give you guys a update

I actually really like it a lot ! At first when I started to use it the pump was kinda hard to get the product out but it eventually did lol . And when I put it on it left like clumps I would say , like it looks like the sunscreen was peeling . But when u wiped it off it sat pretty good . I tried the next morning to really rub it good in my hands to where it turned really white and milky and then pat it on my face , not rub ! And it didn’t leave that residue on my face . And think thats the trick lol !! I like the smell it smells like sunscreen and I like how it’s a moisturizer also . Doesn’t feel heavy on the skin but it does feel like moisturizer on the skin not sunscreen so it don’t feel greasy to me .I just put my makeup right on top of it to and it doesn’t mess it up . Works well so far !

This product is moisturizing and I don’t find it to sting if it sweats in to my eyes, or leave a terrible taste if I lick my lips. But, it does sit very heavy. It makes my face sweat so bad. If you are prone to sweat or have oily skin, I wouldn’t recommend this product.
