Great computer, it has worked for all of my needs thus far, for functionality purposes you'll most likely need to add an SSD and RAM upgrade, cosmetically I didn't receive a "W" key as seen in picture above.

I've requested it be sent in for maintenance because the screen doesn't even work now. It's just been one thing after another with this computer and it hasn't even been 6 working months. It's $1300 so very expensive and it's cost me more problems than my 3 year old $1,000 Lenovo. I would seriously deter you from buying this because all I have are problems.Edit after 6 months: I had given this one star, but just got my computer back after a free repair and it's lookin' good. I think there are other computers with less reported problems for sure, but the support have been quite good with me.Edit after 1 year: My warranty has expired and I have a crack on my keyboard in the corner, next to the screen. If I push my screen up too far, it pulls the plastic up. I am very careful with my laptop and at this point, want it to last another year. After that I will spend more and invest in an Alien because this computer has been nothing, but problems and pretty poor quality all things considered.

Not sure why people are saying this is a bad laptop... I bought the GP73-014 little over 2 months ago and its absolutely amazing, runs perfect. I see people saying they can't play games on the lowest sittings, if you're drivers are up to date that's wrong because a GTX 1060 will absolutely play most games on max settings, I play WoW, Pubg and CoD Bo4 all on max settings if not just a notch below to get maximum fps. I use a cooling fan pad under it while I game but I'll play for 4-6 hours straight and it might get a little warm and blow out warm air but it's a laptop and any gameing laptop will do that, but it doesn't overheat at all or get really hot after very long gameing sessions. The 17.3 in screen is very nice also. The thing I can complain about which isn't a big deal at all is I wish the whole bottom cover wasn't plastic but as long as you treat the laptop carefully and take care of it by not dropping it that's not a problem. So overall I'd give this laptop (GP73-014) a 5 star review and would absolutely reccomend it to anyone.

Battery sucks fans are too laughter but pc is good

This is the ultimate in performance of any comparably priced laptop I have ever seen. Superb process speed including video processing paired with an ultra fast SSD drive for "instant on" boot ability and a huge HDD for data storage as well as the lightening fast response time and refresh rate on the huge 17" display. These features combined with the DDR4 RAM, Killer wireless LAN and extremely stylish design make this unit a sure hit even with the most demanding power users out there. I just can't say enough about how impressed I am with this laptop. A definite must have laptop, especially at the very affordable pricing! Two thumbs up!!!!!

I had an MSI for almost 5years when it finally decided to die. So after a few days of research, I finally decided to get this one.I think I made a good pick. It can handle all the games I like to play easily along with "regular" stuff like surfing the net.Battery life is pretty good, but I pretty much always keep mine plugged in so I'm not a good one to really talk about how long the battery lasts.So far after having it now a couple weeks, I'm really liking this laptop and very glad I got it.

Ok so I ordered the listed system but received an upgraded model. I was trying to find a laptop compatible with the Oculus rift S, I was sent an MSI LEOPARD 95D with upgraded components. It worked flawless. If you are looking for a laptop to run the rift S, the first thing you want to know is if the display port is connected directly to the dedicated card and not integrated through the Intel chipset. It will resolve most problems with laptops. Hope this is helpful to you gamers.

Very quick perfect for my web design and marketing agency. Went for the ssd drive with larger ide drive option and the thing is speedy as.Don’t use it for games so no clue how it would do on that. This is my second msi and will buy a new one in two years time.
