Our nursery is situated on the second floor, facing away from the morning sun. It gets pretty chilly in the mornings, especially when winter sets in. With just one vent on the upper level, our heating system was struggling to keep up. We were considering either installing a second heater or finding a more effective solution. Luckily, we stumbled upon this fan booster, and let me tell you, the remote control it comes with is just fantastic! So convenient! I can adjust its settings without even leaving the cozy comfort of my bed. No need to get up and fiddle with buttons, just a gentle press and we're enjoying a warm, comfortable room. The remote for this fan booster is designed with such user-friendliness, making it a breeze to stay cozy and convenient even in the chilly California winter. This fan booster can get a bit noisy at its highest setting, but compared to a window AC, the noise is minimal, especially considering the warmth it provides. I can only imagine how handy this fan booster will be in the summer months! We're expecting that cranking it up to the max, along with an extra fan, should keep the room at a comfortable temperature, possibly even cooler than the scorching California heat outside. Overall, this is a practical product that works year-round. While it won't instantly warm or cool a room, if you're looking for cozy warmth in winter, refreshing coolness in summer, and a simple, cost-effective solution, this fan booster is definitely worth a try. Kudos to the company for providing such a practical product!

I love this as I moved into a small room with the in laws and they keep the temperature higher than I like. It keeps the room cooler than the rest of the house by atleast 5 degrees or less. Only issue with the unit is my fire tv remote when turning the volume down shuts off and on the unit. Be careful with other remotes in the same area. Function is great but accepts signal from other remotes! Update: this thing takes remote commands from Vizio remotes, fire tv remotes and will randomly shut off the device or change the settings be warned it will even take commands from other rooms of the household devices as well! Many a night have woke up to it being off and sweating because it shut off as at 1am someone made commands from another room with a remote. Vizio tv remotes also interfere with this unit as I tried to use the original tv remote instead of the fire tv remote and it still shuts off and on the unit as well as changes the option between heat and cool. Be sure to use this far from these devices.

My son’s room is so warm in the summer. After we plugged in this in the vent we immediately felt a difference. This paired with some black out curtains and his room was easily 10 degrees cooler. Very easy to use. It is a little noisy but we forget about after awhile.

Gave this 4 stars because it's not life changing, but it does work and has helped balance the temperature in the room it was installed in. Our master bedroom is on the second floor (furnace is in the basement), and on the opposite side of the house from the unit, so we've always struggled with the bedroom being the warmest in the house during the summer. We've been using this fan for the last month (of mostly 90 degree days) and it has made sleeping at night much easier without the need to adjust our whole house thermostate.

I've only written a handful of reviews on amazon after using this site for over a decade. I decided to write a review on this product because it solved my problem. The search is over. This product works. Buy it. My home office on the 2nd floor, facing east would get SO HOT in the summer, constantly sweating. The AC had to be on 24/7 and the basement and main floor would be freezing, it sucked. I installed this, and within 24 hours the *entire second floor* was much cooler. I believe the increase in pressure lead to more of the return air on the 2nd floor being used and had a positive effect on the whole floor, not just my now very comfortable and cool office. Something to be aware of is on modes 5-10 it is not silent but it's also not loud, it's just like a fan running which you probably are used to anyway if you're sweltering so I don't see what the big deal is. Also it's kind of hard to make the cable itself invisible if that's important to you, but for me I just wanted my room cooler and this 100% solved my problem. Very happy!
