This chair works really well. Relatively lightweight, it is sturdy enough for a couple hundred pound adult. Easy to assemble, but pay attention to where the crossbar on the seat bottom goes and it will save you some frustration. Really happy with this product for the price. Seems to be holding up well in the shower environment.

I ordered this because I recently have had some medical issues arise and can’t stand to shower. I have used it a few times and honestly it’s great! I’m 5”5 and 230lbs, I have wide hips but I can still sit on the seat comfortably. It’s a perfect fit and super easy to assemble. It doesn’t feel cheap either it’s very sturdy. I really like the concept of the non slip mat but the mat is slippery and moves around a lot so I just don’t use it. But overall very good product.

Solid chair

I have elderly parents who have experienced strokes/heart attacks. I always worry about them because anything can happen and I never realized how dangerous falling in the shower could be. I got this chair for some peace of mind. It fits them perfectly, but I did see how maximum weight is 550lbs. To be honest, I don't know if this is even wide enough for someone around 400lbs -- I wanted to mention that in case that's what you're looking for and to save any disappointment.

I like the sturdiness of the chair. It is a perfect fit for my shower/tub combo. This will definitely keep me safe. I highly recommend this.

Good buy

I had a shower chair before, and it was being bulky, but this is so compact very easy to put together and very comfortable to use. I would recommend this to anyone who would like to use a shower chair.
