Great purchase
Great value for money and it didn't take 4 hours to assemble like all the reviews said, it took 1 1/2 hours. Very sturdy my 10 year old loves it.

Even Ronnie O'Sullivan would struggle on this one
This is not a good table. It's characterised by cheapness and poor quality all over. The chipboard based is covered with easy peel veneer. The baize is of an inferior sort and discoloured in places. The balls scratch, chip and mark easily. The pockets are too small and not deep enough. The pocket attachments are flimsy and bendy aluminium. Worst of all - my table is not level (there is no way of adjusting the feet / legs to level things) and has a dip at one corner. The dip remains in the same place despite me moving the table around in various directions and putting something under the leg. I don't think it's worth the £150 price, let alone the original one.I would have sent this back. However, what stopped me is that I bought it as a Christmas present for my ten year old son and I ordered it sometime before Christmas. In an attempt to conceal it, the table lay unopened in the box in our garage until Christmas Eve - then I had the disappointment of opening it up. I kept it for too long and it was too bulky and awkward to return. Also, my son is more easy to please than me. He has never seen another snooker table so has nothing to compare this one against - so for him it's an ok present for occasional use. My parents got me a snooker table as a Christmas gift when I was a similar age - a Pot Black or Riley model (which was by no means an expensive model - probably about £300 full price in today's money) - and it was far superior to this one. Normally items get better as times progress, but this table is definitely not a good specimen. It was very weird for me to see this item and compare it unfavourably with another bought in 1984. So, definitely a disappointment - unless you are like my son and can't tell a good table from a bad one. I think if you are over ten years old though you will recognise poor quality when you see it. Another thing to note - the vertical folding position of the table is considerably higher than 6 feet (because of the legs / base), and my garage ceiling is about 3 cm too low for it to fold it. You will need a fairly high ceiling if you want to fold it up.Maybe my son is thinking there is no quality control in Santa's workshop.

Good for kids or beginners
You get what you pay for with this item. Great for kids to learn the basics of snooker / pool but not recommended for the more serious player or if you want a pool table for your man cave. I would suggest paying for something better if you are a bit of a pool player. The construction is pretty good for the price though and it goes together well. The main problem is the cushions just aren't very good, the angles that the balls come off the cushions seem pretty random. It comes with very small 38mm balls which are fine if you want to play snooker but not for pool. I bought some bigger 48mm pool balls which are the correct size for a 6ft table but don't work well with the cushions as they tend to jump. Overall, this is good for complete beginners and kids but don't expect it to last long.

Good home snooker table.
Very easy to assemble. I managed it by myself on Christmas morning, although I needed help to turn it over. One corner of the framework was broken when it came out of the box. It was probably broken in transit, but it was delivered in early December. I mended it with some wood glue and a bracket, and it's OK now. There is a slight run towards one of the other corner pockets, but not enough to spoil the game. The cushions are hard with very little bounce. All in all, though, it's a decent beginner's table. It came with two cues, two triangles, chalk, a brush, scoreboard, and balls to play snooker and pool.

we've played a few times and we love it. Especially since you can fold it up ...
The first time I got the table, it was damaged but the company sent another and it was kind of a pain to get rid of the damaged table, considering how big the item is. But with the new table, we've played a few times and we love it. Especially since you can fold it up when you don't use it. Great price too!

Hours of Fun!
Purchased for two grandchildren. It's not an easy "put together" (perhaps 4 hours) and we found a couple of the bolts (my choice) were better replaced to ensure greater strength into the non-folding legs. It is what it is - and other reviews support that - it is primarily for young starters and so little hands suit little pockets and played with 2 inch balls and shorter cues they are getting more expert everyday. They certainly join me in 5 stars!

Arrived damaged & missing part
The table is of poor construction. The ‘engineered wood’ isn’t very strong (it’s basically thick cardboard) and my table arrived damaged on one of the under table supports. The laminate brown was chipped in various places and I can see it won’t be long before it starts peeling off. Even with all screws tightened it’s still quite flimsy and it certainly would stand up to anyone putting and amount of weight on it.It’s also not as easy to switch from down to storage position as the pictures suggest and in reality requires 2 people. After engaging with the supplier they offer me. £12 refund which after multiple back and forth resulted in £150 refund and sending the missing part. For £250 this table is not worth the money but at the end price of £100 it’s ok for 12 months I reckon it will last.

Pool table
Fair table but had a little bit of damage on arrival but we were given a small refund to compensate for that so overall it’s ok
