LH version is great for lefties
I have the ambidextrous mouse (that looks like a penguin... can't remember the name right now but if you've been looking at ergonomic mouses you'll know the one I mean) I bought this because I like to use a mouse when I travel into the office for work and this is far less bulky. Unlike my other mouse this mouse you operate by using your wrists but it's very easy on the wrists it's highly adjustable meaning that you can get it to the shape and orientation that you require and change that throughout the day depending on whether you're standing sitting or just changing position in your chair. The only difficulty I had with the unit was getting a grip on it between my thumb and little finger it takes a little getting used to but once you have the hang of it it's great. For fellow left-handers this is a great unit just be careful that you look for the left-handed description and don't go off the picture. Build quality seems very sturdy my only fear is that over time all of the adjustable joints will loosen thereby reducing the efficacy of the unit. But I'm a month into using it and so far it's working adequately. I have the wired version because I'm wasn't keen on adding any more emfs into the electromagnetic soup that we bathe ourselves in. Interface with Mac is fine you may need a third party program to activate the middle button but other than that works with mac just great. One of the best mice I've used only time will tell on longevity / durability. Final point if you're looking to travel with this mouse then the hinge makes it susceptible to pressure. I bought a hard case Lykus HC-1420 Mini, it adds a little bulk to my work bag but it's a perfect fit and there's no way this mouse will get crushed with that.

Awkward button placement ruins ergonomics
Whilst the adjustability is good, the amount of buttons and the variety of DPI settings welcome; the button placement, unless you have very short fingers, is very awkward to make good use of and can require a lot of hand movement. The scroll wheel requires considerably clawing-up of the hand to use with the intended grip on the mouse, and its shape and size precludes holding it from further back. The side buttons are very awkward to access even with the adjustable thumb-rest, necessitating a up-and-back motion rather than being accessible quickly by the thumb tip as on other mice. The placement of the sensitivity adjustment requires letting go of the mouse entirely or using a 2nd hand so is terrible for quickly changing DPI on the go as you might wish to if needing to swap from a relaxed to very fine control easily. This amounts to worse ergonomics than a typical fixed position upright mouse that's a third of the cost, defeating the purpose of its customisable grip.

Good for dodgy thumbs.
My husband bought me a wired Unimouse to try out as I have a bad case of trigger thumb (also known as gamer's thumb) and can't squeeze a regular mouse or my thumb locks. Months of avoiding using a mouse and a steroid injection later I'm trying to find a way to getting back on my PC, not just because I like gaming but because I'm self employed and need to use the darn thing! I was skeptical when I unwrapped the Unimouse but having used it for a week now it is definitely more comfortable than a horizontal mouse. I find I can just rest my thumb on the adjustable plate without the need to apply pressure so my fingers and wrist do more of the work. It's a little large, my only criticism, for someone with a small hand and the adjustable parts don't really help with that, and having used the wired version I know I would certainly have got on better with a wireless one which I may have to progress to if I can find a decently priced one. The mouse is quite heavy so the wire causes a lot of drag which doesn't help with any sort of hand/finger/thumb strain as it requires you to frequently grip the mouse to reposition it. All in all a good high quality vertical mouse but go with the wireless version if you can afford it.

Good mouse for left hander
There is not much option to left-hander mouse but it is good one, not feeling tired after a long time used, but it is easy to click wrong button, sometimes it will click middle button. But overall it is a good option for left hander

Lasts less than a year
If you use your mouse for eight hours a day then this will not last long term. I purchased this eleven months ago and the side strips are peeling away making it difficult to use. For a £90 price tag, I expected a bit more longevity.

A brilliant mouse with health benefits.
I have been using the unimouse for a couple of months, and love it.A bit of background. I am right handed and have used a mouse with my right hand since the 1990’s. Last year I was diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in my left hand/arm. A very painful condition. It took ages to have surgery to sort. I was advised by an ergo specialist the mouse I was using was far too small and could increase the chance of CTS in my right hand/arm.I was recommended to look at one mouse which advertised that it helped reduce CTS. However, I found it a little too large, plus didn’t feel as comfy as I expected. I looked at a few different mice, and loved the unimouse. It felt comfortable from the first time I used it. Very natural, and surprisingly easy to set up. I love the adjustments available. It did take a bit of time to get used to the middle button, which I configured to be the double click, but after a week or so it has become so natural.I am a big fan of the unimouse, and would hate to be without it now.Thank you Contour.
