I got 2 of this. Because i love it that much. It is expensive yes. But i use it for fishing, camping, drive-in movies, etc. Battery do lasts long. I just love it...period.

This is a very versatile camping lamp. It can go from the soft glow of a lantern to the daylight-simulating power of a strong LED lamp. Fully extended, it creates a broad circle of bright light, helpful for cooking or other tasks where you want something better than a headlamp of sideways mounted light.The problem is that the base is narrow, even with the feet extended. That's why they provide tent pens to stabilize the lamp. Inside the tent, however, those pins aren't much use. Nor can you drive tent pins into the picnic table. So with the lamp at its full height, and the base so narrow, this lantern is set to knock over. The base is heavy, to help prevent that, but this is still the major issue with this lamp.For the most part, then, its primary use is as a table lamp with the extension only partly used.

The night lamp camp really works well , my son loves it so much he is not scared of the dark now he can sleep with it at the camp. A great company at night.
