UPDATE: The third one was fine. Yay! But not great for what I needed it for. I really wanted to love this little iron, and as you can see from my review, I tried so hard to get a decent one from Amazon. But I finally got one, so here goes; The iron itself is fabulous and steams really well and irons just as good as any regular-sized iron. It has a great amount of steam holes and it’s super lightweight. But what made me return it was that I actually wanted it for quilting, and I regularly use a starch spray with my fabrics, and this was leaving a slight residue on the base of the iron, which meant I’d have to clean the base every time I used it. So I decided a ceramic sole plate iron would be a better choice. This might not seem a big deal when you’re just ironing clothes while on vacation or away on a business trip, and as basic ironing goes, it really isn’t as you’re probably not going to use a finishing spray and have to clean it constantly, and that’s why I’ve given it 5 stars because it’s fantastic, but when you’re quilting and using it as much as I am, it really is a problem. The only other niggle I had was, there wasn’t any light on it to show the iron was “live” or had reached temperature. But when you’re traveling, this isn’t a deal breaker. It’s super light and folds down beautifully. I also really like the dual voltage aspect, and I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a travel iron. As for me and my quilting iron quest, my search goes on.I ordered the first iron, which had a quite a deep scratch on the sole plate, so I requested a replacement. When it arrived, it was obvious that it had been used previously, as the sole plate had fine scratches all over it like it had been cleaned with a scourer. I’ve again, returned this second one and I’ve ordered another one hoping that the third time’s a charm!

I have naturally curly hair, it gets even curlier with steam. So I use it as a styling aid. It’s awesome.

I'm a quilter and have owned several mini irons over the years. But this one wins the gold star, the blue ribbon, the grand prize. It is awesome!

Received this & tried it today. So far, pretty happy with it. It was easy to assemble although the directions were a bit confusing but common sense carried me through. It heats up quickly and worked well to remove wrinkles from lightweight fabric but not so great on heavier fabrics, including oxford cotton shirts - helped but required extra work & finger "ironing." No leaking & easy to fill. Water tank is pretty small but easy to refill. Overall, good for my needs, but if you're looking for something to replace having to send dress shirts to the dry cleaners, you'll have to look elsewhere and probably spend a lot more.

Best steamer I’ve come across. Great for everyday use not just travel. Superior quality compared to other products out there.

I had high hopes for this Rowenta Travel Iron, expecting the quality the brand is usually known for, but I was quite disappointed. As someone who travels frequently, a reliable compact iron is essential, and unfortunately, this one didn't meet my needs.Firstly, the heating was inconsistent. It took a long time to heat up, and even on the highest setting, it struggled to remove wrinkles from basic cotton shirts. I found myself going over the same areas repeatedly, which was frustrating and time-consuming, especially when trying to get ready in a hotel room.The "Pro Compact" design is indeed small and lightweight, which is a plus for packing. However, the small size also translates to a tiny soleplate, making ironing larger items like dresses or pants quite tedious.Another issue I encountered was with the steam function. It was weak and sporadic, barely making a difference in tackling stubborn creases. I even followed the instructions carefully regarding water levels, but the performance didn't improve.Overall, while the portability is a selling point, the lackluster heating power and ineffective steam function make this Rowenta Travel Iron a poor choice for anyone who needs reliable wrinkle removal on the go. I ended up having to rely on hotel irons anyway, defeating the purpose of bringing my own. I would not recommend this product.

Still learning to use a clothes steamer. I do like the ease of use and water capacity.

Very pleased with this product. Very compact. Nice travel case included. I haven’t used with water for steam feature.
