Killed a raspberry pi when left plugged in overnight, and when I plugged it in my laptop to debug it finally gave up - smell of burning plastic and now struggling to get UPS return via Amazon (broken link on site). ### ⭐ Review *by A***X on 6 November 2024* [Tested on Ubuntu 24.04 (two separate machines) and Windows 11] First things first, this device is not plug and play, Windows is not able to run it and the link to the drivers that Alfa themselves provide is dead. On linux, after installing the correct drivers (with no guidance from Alfa whatsoever), it simply does not work as it draws too much power, despite being tested on a modern motherboard which has USB 2.0, 3.0 and 3.2. At this point I'm done troubleshooting and I will be returning it as it nothing more than a plastic brick with a blue led on it.
