Nice material..sliky going up your leg..unusual for a wool product..but very nice. Really warm and comfortable. I love them. Good value.

I'm disappointed because I have other products from Meriwool that are good quality, but these socks are complete trash. They released a terrible toxic odor when washing that made me lightheaded for hours afterwards. They started pilling like mad as well. They aren't good for wearing with shoes, at best you can wear them at night, which isn't what I bought them for. They're somewhat warm but feel cheap and unpleasant and don't compare to other cold weather sleeping socks on the market. These are marketed as suitable for hiking but they're absurdly thick and the fabric doesn't feel like wool, it feels like that cheap sherpa, I'm certain it would give you blisters if you could even find a pair of hiking boots 2 sizes larger than your normal size to try them with. I regret buying them.

These were amaaaazing when I first bought them. So soft and warm. Now, after dozens of uses and washes over the past several months they are rough and stiff and have shrunk so much that they are difficult to put on. They also leave painful marks on my ankles and lower legs. Would not recommend.
