This is my second Travelpro carryon, the first one finally broke after many years of hard use, dragged over cobblestones, loaded onto trucks, the bottom casing which holds the wheel cracked. It was an easy decision to buy a new one, even though the international sizing for carryon has shrunk. With careful clothing choices we are able to hold enough for 1 month's travel and avoid the baggage carousel and lost luggage issues.

I found this suitcase after having a very bad experience with a different brand. I owned a different 22” suitcase that seemed perfect. Except if fell over when packed. Not very handy, especially on a bus tour that hustled. It was so bad it almost landed in traffic. So I was a bit skeptical as I had visions of the one too going plop. I was very surprised when it stood the test on a very active bus tour around Colorado. It never fell over, was absolutely solid through the many hotel handlers, and was very roomy. The old one that fell over is out out out. This is my new fav and I highly recommend it. No wimpy laying down on the job with this one.

We have a similar Travelpro rollaboard suitcase and wanted another. We first ordered a 4-wheel spinner Travelpro, but when we received it we discovered that the capacity was noticeably less than the 2-wheel version that we had. We then ordered this one and determined that its capacity more or less matched our older one. Stitching is intact and the wheels roll well. Hopefully it will hold up with use.

well built, good design, light and spacious

I spent a lot of time researching for a new carryon bag. My old suitcase was TOO heavy, too heavy to lift into an overhead bin, too heavy to lift into the car when it was packed with clothes, too heavy even to lift when it was empty! This case is the lightest of all the ones I seriously considered. The case is slightly smaller than my previous one, and met the requirements for air line travel. I plan to get the matching bag to sit on top as it sits well on top. I did not want to get the 360-turning wheels as I did not want my luggage to roll away and as a senior, I wanted to feel stable when I was not using a cane. I choose the orchid pink color as I did not want another traveler accidentally taking my luggage by mistake when unboarding.
