Exceptional quality
Exceptional quality for recording. Exceptional quality for streaming. The included app allows you to store multiple profiles so you can tailor to various lighting scenarios. I love that I can control FOV, ISO, and Shutter Speed. It also does a fantastic job with auto focus, but I can also manually set a focal distance. The depth of field via bokeh is pretty good, but its not super strong. As of right now I dont believe I can modify that, so depending on the depth of your space, it may be more or less blurry. I like the professional visual you get pretty much right out of the box, but you def need to spend time with lighting your space to maximize what you get. It's also bigger than you expect, its straight up the size of a DLSR lens. It has a really awesome privacy closure system where you just twist lightly on the lens and its closes an iris. Theres also a protective cover for the lens to help protect it from dust or protect the lens when storing/traveling.

This is the best webcam
As advertised. It isn’t as good as having a Sony camera with a dummy battery, etc. But, it is clear and good enough for streaming, or voice calls. Definitely the best webcam I’ve seen.

Great hardware, but useless without software
I am hoping Razer monitors reviews...This camera has great potential, and I WANT to keep it, but...Synapse 4 (downloaded and installed 2 days ago) has a bug when saving settings to the camera.I have fully documented this on the Razer Insider forum. "Kiyo Pro Ultra / Synapse blind user questionsUntil this bug is fixed, it is impossible to save camera setting changes, quit Synapse, and start the application actually intended to use the camera.(Synapse must be opened to change camera settings, then closed in order to use other software such as Camera, OBS, QuickCamera, etc.)Also, the next time Synapse is opened, it complains that the camera and Synapse have different settings. (Because they do since Synapse doesn't write the settings correctly to the camera...)This makes it impossible to "close the loop" and return to Synapse to make minor adjustments. My testing has been specific to turning off Auto Exposure and using manual settings. It is possible that Synapse works ok as long as Auto Exposure is being used.My use case requires Auto Exposure to be off, so that is what I am testing.I hope someone from Razer sees this and responds.I have had no luck using the Razer support forum.Without Synapse (which only runs on Windows), the power of the KPU cannot be realized. Might as well have a cheaper webcam.Cheers

Excellent Camera So So Mic
The image quality of this camera is a significant upgrade from the Microsoft lifecam I had been using previously. You could certainly get a bit better quality from a DSLR/lens combo. But you'd need to spend at least twice as much to do it.The bokeh effect is subtle, but its there and its noticeable. The one disappointment I had with it was the built in mic. I normally use a dedicated mic (SM7) so I only experimented with the built in mic a little bit. But I found the sound to be lacking in quality and I thought the sound from the Microsoft lifecam was much better. It would be good enough for most zoom calls. But also use the camera to create training content for my job so I need broadcast quality audio and the built in mic does not get anywhere close to that IMO.

Crisp Enough to See Your Soul… or Regret It
Whether you’re streaming, video calling, or just admiring yourself in glorious 4K, this webcam delivers. The quality is insanely sharp and like, “did I always look this tired?” kind of sharp. Lighting? Smooth. Autofocus? Laser-precise. Honestly, it might be too honest. It also mounts to a camera stand if you’re into… whatever that setup’s for 👀. I’m not here to judge. If you want pro-level quality without needing a whole production crew, this thing’s a beast. Just be prepared to see every pore you’ve ever owned.

Auto Focus problem
This camera is AMAZING besides one big flaw which is the auto focus! It doesn’t focus well at all when its on auto mode. And if its on manual mode, it blurs you if you get a certain distance away. I wish they would fix this issue, i had to return it due to this. Otherwise its the best camera you can buy similar to dslr quality

This is like a DSLR quality as a webcam
This is like a DSLR as a webcam. My zooms have never looked better. Pro tip: use OBS virtual webcam for best results when doing your meetings.

Best image quality of any webcam.
It’s by far the best webcam on the market! The image quality is literally better than some DSLR’s. I am amazed. The only issue is the auto focus is slow. The Synapse app is a must and must have exact specifications in order to optimize this device. It’s incredible for low light and the bokeh is sensational! Top freaking tier.
