I recommend great handy book

Love this series of books. Very helpful.

These mini manuals are great to have in the shack for quick reference but my only grip, and the reason for 4 stars, is the really small print, even with my glasses it's difficult to read with these older eyes. I'd be willing to pay extra for a large print as I'm sure so would other like me.

Just what I needed for a quick reference for my Icom radio. Saves having to search through the lengthly manual...

Thin spiral bound color booklet with nice laminated pages. However even my son with perfect vision had a hard time reading the booklet without magnification. I would recommend using a larger font even if you have to add a page or two. Information was accurate and helpful on the bench, just make sure to have a magnifying glass handy. Larger text would equal more stars…

I've been in the hobby of Ham Radio now for a little over a year. I've picked up four radios in that time and have three of these guides. I get outdoors a lot camping and hiking. These guides are perfect while your learning a new radio, and continue to be useful as a quick reference to toss in your field bag or to use in your shack. They are sometimes hard to get at retail Ham Radio shops, but I've always found them at Amazon. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Nice handy guide that I can throw in my Go Kit for needed reference.

I would not own a ham radio without having the corresponding Nifty Accessories min-manual for it. I ordered this one, in fact, BEFORE I ordered my IC-7300 as a way to confirm it was the radio I actually wanted. I never go into the field with the radio without having it with me. Best accessory you can get for any radio you own.
