My shed is very grateful for the protection this offers. Also looks good. What more can one say. This brand always provides a great quality product that does the job. Easy to splash on and covers nicely, the wood absorbs it perfectly. Great colour.

This fence paint is good, but you do have to plaster it on thickly to get a good coverage. Plenty of absorbant dust sheets below where you're painting to catch the inevitable drips. It dries quite quickly. So, if you start early morning, it's possible to get a second coat on, in the afternoon. Even when recoating after several years, it's still best to give 2 coats.

The coverage is excellent, and the colour looks fresh and vibrant without being overpowering. It instantly gave my fences a new lease of life.What I really appreciated is how easy it was to apply, the paint goes on smoothly and dries quickly, even in our unpredictable UK weather. One coat gave decent coverage, but I did two for a deeper finish and extra durability. It also doesn’t have that overpowering chemical smell, which is a big plus when working outdoors.A few weeks on and it’s still looking great, even after some heavy rain. No peeling or fading!

Good coverage -good colour - good price

I expected this paint to be the colour as represented on the picture, or at least similar. In real life it is nowhere near! Have a look at my pic for a true representation of the colour before ordering. As it happens, I love the colour. I have even ordered 2 additional tubs of this colour. I had planned to be all fancy and paint my shed, gate and fence posts in this colour that I thought was charcoal, and the panels in the lighter stone colour. I've not even opened the stone as I know it will be too sickly light, and I'm returning it unopened. I've decided I'm going to have to be not fancy after all and paint my whole fence this 'not charcoal' colour because as I said, it's lovely it's just not as described. It looks to me like Ronseal have been very lazy with their labeling. Their vast colour range is all displayed on the packaging with the exact same photo but different colours which screams to me photoshop and not real life! Come on Ronseal, it's a great product and it only took me 2 coats to get full coverage on my old and battered fence. If the colour was similar to the packaging I would be leaving you 5 stars! Get your act together and take real life pics because what you're doing now just ain't working! In other news it's a fab product. It dries fast, covers well with 2 coats and is dead easy to clean from brushes (and skin! I'm a very mucky painter!) It's a decent paint, I do recommend it but don't rely on the colours on the tin until Ronseal sort it out!! Happy summer everyone 🌞
