Amazingly powerful lights
The media could not be loaded. Â I got these lights to replace some weak strip lighting in my tray ceiling. The brightness is outstanding and the color changing, strobe, and other light functions are a great novelty (my friends immediately decided my house is now a night club!).On the negative side, the red LEDs stopped working on one strip less than 24 hours after installation. With the flexible nature of these lights I can see why that would happen on rare occasions. I'm assuming customer service is going to rectify this, so I'll stick with the 5 star review. Also, don't expect to string these together endlessly. I would say that two per power supply is the best you're going to get. I initially connected three strings. By the time I reached the end it was clear that the power supply couldn't power that much. The brightness and color at the end of the third string was VERY clearly different. To fix it I ran two sets of one full section and one half section in opposite directions from the same starting point (you can cut the strings to length at copper connection points). Then, in the app, I just put the two WiFi controllers in a group. It works beautifully. These also seamlessly integrate with Alexa. It only took about one minute to set up.Also, I'm not sure if the manufacturer changed the tape on the back of the strip or if it's simply because my lights aren't fighting much gravity, but I had no problem getting these to stick like other reviewers have.Despite the minor problems I had, I would definitely recommend these. The price is amazing and the light output is superb.EDIT: Customer service sent a replacement strip within hours of me notifying them with no hassle. Excellent customer service and product.

Great product!
The media could not be loaded. Â After my better half missed a step and fell--she started turning on the light to go down the stairs. The problem, she would forget to turn them off and that would wake me up. These are very bright in illuminating the stairs, Connecting to my WI-FI and Google was a breeze. I was really-really happy I was able to skipped the hand-to-hand combat associated with trying to connect this product-pretty sure you all have been there and done that. For the most part, installation was straight forward--no instructions, you have to use common sense. I am ok with that. Means less waste and hopefully, it contributed to the reasonable cost. If you really need instructions, I am pretty sure you can find them on-line. Took me about 30 minutes. The only issue was the first 2 or 3 feet would not adhere to the stairs. Yes, I cleaned the area first--give me some credit :-). Fortunately I had electrical cable management sticky pad and wire ties . I just did a complete install with them first--then removed the blue backing that protected the adhesive. The kit came with small double stick 3-M tape that I used to secure the first 2 or 3 feet. I used my own double stick Velcro fastener to attached the remote and their controller to the wall and based board. Please be advise--The remote is line of site. Where I have it installed works for me. When you read the description of all of the things you can do with product and the App, it may seam like I am being short changed. That is further from the truth. I have motion sensor light that uses radar at my side door. Per those instructions, cannot use another within 25 feet. Radar goes through walls and my hallway is within the restricted range. It was not practical to use WI-FI light bulbs in the hallway, they would just wake me up like the regular bulbs--I guess the advantage would be I have the option of turning them off from bed. This product does the two things I need it to do. 1. Provide illumination. 2. Illumination does not wake me up. For me, this is a GREAT PRODUCT!

Nice smart features for a reasonable price.
The setup was pretty easy to do with the app. Just a slight issue with WiFi setup, but it eventually connected after a minute. Like others are saying, the adhesive could be better. I have this in use on a plant shelf, so the poor adhesive isn't an issue for me since the light strip is just laying flat on the shelf. I also set this up to use with my Google Home and to my surprise is works pretty great! I've had issues with other products and Google Home, but so far none here! I can also change the color of the light strip just using Google and my voice...I initially thought that changing the color might've been an app only feature. But overall, not a bad investment if you're looking for a cheaper option for a smart LED light strip.

Exactly what i wanted! Love it!
I already have a few MagicLight bulbs and i love them! I wanted to get LED stip to put around my bar and on the back of the TV, so when i saw that MagicLight makes LED strips as well as bulbs it was a easy decision. They work great and are super easy to setup and control. It has all the same functionality as the bulbs, plus it comes with a remote, so it operates smoothly with the other bulbs. Being able to control it with IFTTT is also a huge bonus. The only thing that worried me was the length, it can be cut to get rid of the extra but then it feels like a waste, but then i saw this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078V8HN9P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 problem solved! Super easy to use, no special tools required, allows you to customize and build it however you'd like. i mounted the lights on the back of my TV and it looks great! I have plenty of leftover strip now so i definitely plan on buying at more controllers, and possibly another 16' segment to put in other rooms in my house. Time to get creative!
