The range accommodates most portafilter depths (exact mm not specified but tested for 51mm baskets). **Q: Does the included stand double as a dosing funnel? How stable is it?** A: Yes, the base acts as a dosing funnel + stand. Its weighted design keeps the tool upright, and the wide rim fits 51mm portafilters securely. **Q: How do you clean the needles and handle? Is disassembly required?** A: Needles wipe clean easily; the funnel/stand catches loose grounds. No disassembly needed—just brush off residue. Avoid soaking the wooden handle. **Q: How does this improve extraction compared to cheaper WDT tools?** A: The 0.4mm needles and ergonomic handle allow precise, clump-free distribution, reducing channeling. The Mantis shape offers better control than straight-needle tools. **Q: Do coffee grounds get stuck between the needles during use?** A: Minimal retention due to the **0.4mm needle spacing**. A quick tap or brush (included) easily clears any trapped grounds. ## Frequently Bought Together - IKAPE Mantis WDT Distribution Tool with Clean Brush, 58.5MM Espresso Stirrer Distribution Tool for Barista, 8 Needle Espresso Stirrer with Dosing Funnel &Stand, Adjustable Needle Height, Walnut Handle - Normcore 58.5mm Coffee Tamper V4 - Spring-loaded Tamper with 15lb / 25lb / 30lbs Replacement Springs - Anodized Aluminum Handle and Stand - Stainless Steel Flat Base - Normcore 58.5mm Gravity Distribution Tool, Gravity Adaptive Espresso Distributor, Espresso Coffee Leveler Tool for 58mm Bottomless Portafilter, 304 Stainless Steel 5 Blade base --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ph/products/618689718-ikape-mantis-wdt-distribution-tool-with-clean-brush-58-5mm](https://www.desertcart.ph/products/618689718-ikape-mantis-wdt-distribution-tool-with-clean-brush-58-5mm) --- *Product available on Desertcart Philippines* *Store origin: PH* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
