Amazon Basics Emergency Seat Belt Cutter and Window Hammer - 2-Pack

These are essential to keep in the car. For being so cheap it's important to keep

Bought these to keep in the car and honestly they’re worth having just for peace of mind. You get two in the pack, so one can go in each car or one in the front and one somewhere easy to reach. They feel simple but solid, and the bright colour makes them easier to find quickly if you ever needed them. The seat belt cutter is covered safely, and the window hammer feels sturdy enough for an emergency situation. It’s not something you really “use” day to day, but that’s kind of the point. For the price, it’s a small thing that could make a massive difference. Definitely worth keeping in the car rather than wishing you had one later.

The items felt sturdy and, having used the hammer on a piece of glass, can testify that it would very likely be enough to break a car window, if needed to. The item is small enough to fit in the door panel of my friends car, who it was bought for, so hopefully easy enough to reach, should the need arise.

Good product very well packed and received on time.

Every car should have these fitted as a safety feature, after an accident of a friend that couldn’t get out of there car I bought these and have repeat bought them for my son and his girlfriends cars as a just in case, I also moved to a bungalow with small window openings and have one permanently on the windowsill in case of fire so it can be smashed to get safely out. Hopefully you will never need to use these but it really could save your life if you did.

I have the pair secured in my hilux. Have not needed to use and hopefully never will. I have tested the same product by buying a second pair and can confirm they will break multiple types of glass including toughened coffee tables with one strike. The seatbelt cutter works really well too i tested on a seatbelt ratchet strap with and without tension and it cuts fast and clean. If you purchase do not test and blunt the instrument have some trust that it will perform when you need it.

Bought these for my son who drives a lot and it all weathers. Probably more for my peace of mind than his if am honest. However he was pleased with them and you just never know. The look sturdy and are. brightly coloured so they can be seen easily.

Every person who has a car should carry one of these in their car they do the job well

Super

Werkt goed.

This is one of those products I believe everyone should have in their vehicle! The Amazon Basics Emergency Escape Tool is affordable, practical, and could potentially save your life in an emergency. I actually purchased these for my kids because you can never be too prepared when it comes to vehicle safety. They keep theirs securely mounted in the door compartments of their vehicles, where they can easily reach them if needed. Having both a window-breaking tool and a seatbelt cutter in one compact device is a fantastic idea. In an emergency, especially if you're trapped inside a vehicle, having the right tool within reach could make all the difference. These also make excellent gifts! Whether it's for your kids, spouse, family members, or friends, this is a practical gift that shows you care about their safety. Thankfully, we haven't had to use them in an actual emergency, and I hope we never do. But having them readily available provides some additional peace of mind. Highly recommend keeping one in every vehicle! It's a small investment in safety that could make a huge difference when seconds count.

A handy tool for emergency exit from a car. Sturdy build and lightweight. Hammer points are sharp. Safety bracket provided with the tool is of good quality too.
