Tiny, simple, straightforward and sturdy
This flashlight is great not only as an everyday item but also as an addition to your emergency preparedness. To begin with, it's simple and straightforward - you need a handy, small enough but powerful flashlight - that's what it offers. No need to learn different flashlight modes or refer to an operating manual. A nice tactile, mechanical switch allows you to turn the flashlight on or off. The switch is well balanced and there's a little chance that the flashlight turns on accidentally when carrying, in your pocket or when stored away with other items.Build quality is surprisingly sturdy at this price point and I am sure the flashlights will take everyday beating with ease. Most importantly, it's surprisingly light weight too.The only additional light related feature this flashlight offers is the ability to adjust the light beam between narrow and wide. Personally, I use narrow beam indoors and a wide beam outdoors. The mechanism to adjust the beam is quite intuitive and doesn't need any learning or getting used to.The flashlight works with 3 AAA batteries arranged together in a provided battery holder. The light however, given it's LED, is bright white and may need some getting used to when you turn on the flashlight in darkness for the first time.

A very compact but very versatile and Powerful flashlight.
The power of the beam of this small flashlight is very impressive. It's adjustable so you can widen the beam to light a very large area or tighten it to reach a long distance. It's a very high quality light made of quality materials. The only drawback is I wish the on-off button was on the top so you could turn it on and off while holding it with a handshake grip and pointing it. As it is configured if you want to point it and turn it on and off you need to hold it in a fist grip and use your thumb to turn on and off. But that's far from a deal breaker with this flashlight which gives you everything you need powerful compact light at a great price.

Decent cheap
Box came opened. I mean the mfg box within the sealed Amazon box. Like the mfg didn't spend enough on box glue. It was an empty unglued little flashlight box but I found the flashlight rolling around in the Amazon box. It is cheaply made in China, and the little paper that comes with it says that the light source (LED bulb?) is not replaceable, so if it craps out you cannot swap the bulb like you can with higher quality flashlights. It takes 3 aaa batteries that go into a cheap plastic housing within the tube. For the price, it is excellent. It's not some fancy expensive 'tactical' light but it is bright and adjustable and a winner in bang for the buck at about 10-11 USD. It does come with some crappy chinese aaa batteries but I may replace them with decent rechargeable aaa's.The front end slides a slight bit (an inch or less) to produce a wider beam of light to a smaller beam of light. This is pretty smooth, basic, and the light is quite bright and satisfactory. For the cheap price, I am happy with this light and would even order another one. Considering high end of similar size edc lights are 10x more expensive, I'd rather buy these in case I lose them they are replaceable. This is like the morakniv of small flashlights, except it's made in China.

Bright and reliable flashlight
I have been using this many times every day for the last 3 years. It has always worked flawlessly. Light is bright and battery life is good. I love the push button and the wrist strap. The flashlight is lightweight and compact.

Fine little flash lite, cheap
Got small flashlight mainly to look into dark corners in my house for mice or whatever. Its fine. Fits well in my hand, easy to turn on and off when in hand (button is in the back, easy to press with thumb when holding the flashlight in palm, pointing pinkywards. Not as easy if you want to hold it pointing thumbwards. ) Nice that it only has one setting, on or off, so no multiple presses needed to cycle through. Batteries arrived fully charged (I have a small battery checker, very useful.) Instructions are no good, but it's easy enough to put the batteries in as long as you know the - (flat) end always goes on the spring side. Put the battery unit in backwards at first (dummy, there are two arrows showing which way it goes, but I had thought they were meant to show how the batteries go in the case. No.) It didnt work, so I turned the battery unit around, since thats all I could do, and voila. Havent used it enough to comment on battery life, but it uses regular AAA's I always have more of them around than I need for the few things that still use non-button batteries. Light is bright enough, it's easy to twist-adjust the beam. This isn't for walking in deep woods at night, but a good indoor flashlight to check out what's in the back of your closet.
