Exactly what I would expect for $230
I was surprised at how quickly the chair arrived after I ordered it. Arrived after 2 days but was promised in 5. Under promise over deliver? The box was badly mangled. I was concerned that the chair might have sustained damage but it was very well packaged and the chair has no visible damage at all.Assembly was super easy. I don't know how anyone messed up the arms. There's literaly a sticker on the arms to identify right from left. How anyone then installed the arms backwards is beyond me. Seems really obvious to me.The fake leather looks nice enough and is comfortable. We chose the blue and it looks pretty good. Actually, the chair really looks good in our living room - it looks better than a $230 chair. But then when you sit on it you might realize that it is in fact a lower end chair. Maybe. I find it very comfortable. I am 5'10" and 170lbs, this chair works really well for me.This is a smaller chair so I don't recommend it for anyone over 200 lbs, especially if you have a wide backside. Others have complained that there is insufficient padding. I have a skinny backside and I find the padding to be more than adequate. I have never understood how people with substantially well padded backsides find chairs too hard. I don't think the leg rest will hold up larger legs and I don't believe that the chair will survive long under too much weight. If you have mobility issues you may not be able to get up out of the chair either. It does sit lower. My only complaint is that the swivel feels really cheap. REALLY CHEAP. It is not smooth at all.Ultimately I am happy with the chair. It satisfies the need we had for a smaller chair that swivelled. It looks good. And the chair is well priced for what you get.

eh, not exactly comfortable, ergonomic, or relaxing
Terrible ergonomics, false advertising on the height, and never ending squeaky leather as all get out. This looked fairly straight-back from the pictures and video, but it has that distinct insane scoliosis curvature that presses awkwardly into your shoulders with literally negative lumbar support, unfortunately all too similar to most chairs these days. And people wonder why everyone has back problems, it's just insane. You had one job to do, design a chair for normal humans to sit it and they arch the back exactly opposite of good posture. The curve might be passable for midgets and small kids, but then the seat length would still just be insane so there's no thought put into this clearly. I don't understand how they could make this and say, 'yeah, that's fine, I'm ok with it'. Did they even sit in it?!! I'm not sure who's stupider, the first guy that made a chair like that, or everyone else for continuing to do the same thing.Only reason I decided to keep it for now is because I decided to take it apart and hammer out the asinine curvature to a more neutral position, and apply some materials between the rubbing leather to quiet the endless squeaky. And I removed a piece of the head foam and inserted it nicely into the lumbar and it's much better, though still needs improvement. And It really needs to sit several inches higher, like was advertised. I may insert some feet onto it. The foot rest is a little narrow for spreading your legs slightly and it's curve down isn't as satisfying as it should be. Meanwhile the seat is pointed up, which makes sitting in neutral, non-reclined position completely impractical.

The chair is okay
It’s a comfortable chair mostly, don’t sit too far back in the seat and plop, you might hit your tail bone on the bar in the seat. A little hard to get out of. It wasn’t very hard to put together but not easy either. I’m not sorry I purchased the chair and probably would’ve still gotten it.

Creaky chair but looks great!
I read a bunch of reviews here before I weighed in. I thought maybe I was being too critical in my own mind. It’s attractive and fits the space I bought it for (bedroom TV chair). Holy MOLY this chair is noisy. It makes noises while I am sitting perfectly still in it. Clicking and creaking and I can’t figure out why. I just turn the TV louder. SUPER HARD to get out of. I never dreamed I would be old enough (50’s) to say something like this but it is true. It is truly hard to get out of and I am in good physical shape. Just keeping it real for folks who are on the fence about this chair. Looks good and fits in smaller spaces - Yes. My opinion: Should be around $150 and not a dime more.

Not comfortable
Very uncomfortable. Not real well made or a solid piece of furniture. Definitely not worth the price.

Nice chair. Good value.
For the price, this is a good value. I live downtown in a small apartment, and ditched my car for a scooter and bike. The chair is perfect for kicking back and watching a movie or listening to music. I'm 6'2", 145 pounds, and the chair suits my needs. Back support is lacking in my opinion, but I don't find that most chairs suit my ergonomical standards, so I use a lumbar pillow or blanket to achieve the back support I like. As far as firmness and sturdiness goes, that is probably contingent upon how you take care of stuff. I could probably make this chair last several years; however, I take care of stuff. It fits great in a bedroom or small apartment. I highly recommend this chair.
