First of all, the only reason I knocked off a star is because of the long delay before it arrived.I use crutches when I'm out so have to have a backpack in case I decide I need to buy something as I can't carry an ordinary bag with the crutches.Despite the external look of it, this bag is quite capacious and I have managed to get more than I thought inside.I'm not too sure how it will stand up if I fill it with veggies from the market but everything looks really sturdy. The zips are strong with metal pulls rather than plastic. The shoulder straps are comfortable and easy to adjust. So I think I can recommend this to anyone looking to buy it.

Got this to replace an old work bag.Firstly, the material quality feels great - Strong and sturdy.I do like the design pattern on the case, not too childish so works well as an adult backpack.I fit my laptop and a lunch cooler bag and all other peripherals with no issues at all.The straps are wide and so provide enough padding so does not cause shoulder strain.An easy recommendation

I've used this for our dog walks to the park as so many reasonably priced backpacks are ones for kids and look quite bright, or you get diaper bags as the alternative. This is a great quality but still quite light regardless. Lots of useful and well sized compartments. Just glad to have a smarter look design at a reasonable price.

This is a fairly standard day bag with front pocket, main compartment, and 2 bottle pockets. The back is moderately padded and the straps are well padded. There is an elasticated divider inside should you want to place a tablet or small laptop here. There is a single mesh pocket on the inside front. There is a carrying / hanging loop at the top.The zips are better than the usual budget offerings, the pullers are chrome and the zips themselves are not the cheapest I have seen.This should last ok for occasional day trips or it might do a turn or 2 as a school bag although it lacks smaller inside pockets for equipment and other personal items and it’s not going to tolerate a whole lot of rough and tumble.

I'm impressed with this rucksack - it would be perfect for school. It seems strongly made - which of course it needs to be for daily use and carrying schoolbooks. It is large enough to fit a laptop and quite a number of A4 sized books. Dimensions are 45 x 31 x 17cm. The straps are good and strong and well-padded. The fabric is robust and the design not too bold.There is a pocket on the side to hold a water bottle and useful side straps to decrease the depth of the pack if you don't have much in it. A neat feature.There is a large zippered pocket on the outside and inside 2 pockets - one with an elastic top and the other - a mesh pocket - which has a zip.At £23.99 at time of review I'd say this is a good buy for a school bag (assuming your school doesn't insist on plain coloured bags) - or indeed for other uses too. In fact I might not be passing it on to my children.....

This really is a great sized backpack with a lot of features.I got the black spatter version for a nephew, as it's a good young-teen design, and big enough for school. Most importantly, it's roomy enough to fit several A4 books/notepads in at once.It has a nice strong double zip with little feature pullers, and a good amount of pockets, internally and externally. The straps are...I would say just padded enough, and have a breathable mesh underside. The fabric itself has a nice over-stitched design almost like quilting, which I hope will make it more robust long-term.It also very usefully has two side straps which will reduce the thickness of the rucksack if you're not carrying a lot, so things don't slide around inside, or can be used to hold items in the outer pockets more securely.It does claim that the fabric is 'slightly waterproof', but to be sure, I gave this a coat of waterproof spray before I passed it on to its recipient. I did take one star off for that, otherwise this would have been a five-star review.But most of all, said teenager was very content with the design (teenage boys are never actually happy with anything; any reaction above a grunt is considered high praise!) because "Yea, it looks like I did graffiti all over it."So all round a big win, I think! He went off upstairs to transfer all his stuff into it and hang random weird keyrings off it ready for tomorrow, which is high praise indeed!
