BellroyLite Sling Mini - Black

I recently bought the Bellroy Lite Sling Mini prior to a trip to Europe, and it turned out to be an absolutely brilliant purchase. The bag really is 'lite' lightweight, so much so that you hardly notice it when you’re wearing it (empty). Even when it’s not in use, it folds down so compactly that it barely takes up any room in your backpack... huge bonus for travelling light.Before purchasing this bag, I was unsure of the magnetic latch mechanism. I wasn’t convinced it would be secure, but surprisingly, it's sturdy and doesn’t open unintentionally, even when you’re on the move.Despite its compact size, the bag is surprisingly spacious. It held everything I needed while travelling, including four passports, travel documents, my sunglasses, and my phone. My iPhone 16 Pro Max, which is probably the largest phone Apple currently makes, fit perfectly in the front pocket. I don’t use a case, so that might have helped, but contrary to some reviews, I had no issues at all. On top of that, there was still room for a small water bottle, which was really handy during day trips. The Airtag pocket was another clever feature, giving me peace of mind knowing I could track the bag if needed.If I had one minor complaint, it’s that the inner pocket isn’t protected/lined. A soft lining would make it much easier to store sunglasses without their case, as it would help prevent scratches. It’s a small thing, but it would make a noticeable difference.Overall, the Bellroy Lite Sling Mini is an excellent travel companion and is now part of my EDC. It’s light, practical, and holds far more than you’d expect given its size. While the lack of a lined pocket for sunglasses is a slight downside, it’s not enough to detract from how great this bag is. If you’re looking for a simple, stylish, and functional sling bag, this is it.
