I ordered this as a decorative piece on a bookshelf for the room in my house that I use as a library. It arrived quickly and intact.I didn't really know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised when this arrived. To start it is packed for transit with a hard cardboard outer box and a regular box inside. The smaller box is packed in a molded to fit styrofoam casing to protect it inside the second box. There are instructions on the exterior of the second box on what to do if the product is damaged. My arrived intact and in good condition. It pays to add a little extra for objects that may be more prone to damage during transit.The detail on the statue is well done. There are no inconsistencies in the details nor are there any "lines" left over from the casting process. It looks exactly like the photos in the description. I think it looks great on the bookshelf. It's not shiny but rather is a great facsimile of a bronze statue.There was only one point of contention and that was something featured in the description. It stated that it would make a great gift (true) and that it comes with a "pretty gift bag". Mine only came with a generic clear plastic bag. Perhaps it was an oversight but regardless integrity matters so I would be remiss if I did not take it into account. It was for this reason that this product lost a star. If the description had not mentioned it the product it would have rated the full five. Don't say there's a bag when there isn't.I was completely satisfied with my order. I ordered the medium one. I think it just looked better than the small one (the poses are different). I can't really speak to the price point as I am unfamiliar with similar items but I do feel confident that the product will give you your money's worth. The detail is worth it. It just looks great so if you're looking for a well done relatively inexpensive decorative piece for your home then this is something for your consideration.

The medium size is quite large and would make a nice decorative piece for a coffee table, end table, headboard piece, dresser piece, office desk, or on a shelf for display someplace where it matters. Showing your patriotism for the country or the love of majestic creatures this piece is absolutely beautiful. It is made to look like bronze without the weight. Though this is sturdy-ish, do keep in mind that this could still break if dropped or has a fall. Always store out of reach of small children to avoid breakage or cracks. Because I have no idea how sturdy it is, you want to keep it safe like you would ceramics. To clean I would wipe it down with a dusting cloth or duster, and a damp cloth if it's looking a little dirty. Don't rub too hard as it could remove the paint. Worst-case scenario after washing and the paint is coming off you could spray paint it with gold or bronze in a well ventilated area to retouch it at some point. Avoid cleaning this with chemicals as it could melt or take off the paint.Makes a lovely gift for collectors and USA Americana nostalgia- for birthdays, and Christmas.

Typically eagle statues do not have the head of the eagle pointing down, let alone at this somewhat sharp or marked angle. I think it takes away from the desirability of this statue, though I realize this comment is subjective and an opinion and I shall not have it effect my overall rating.Otherwise, the quality of piece seems very good in terms of fit and finish as well as detail. If you don't mind the appearance of the eagle flying downward as in going for prey, or if you like that position, then this piece could well be for you. I think the price is a attractive for this type of accessory.
