I use this for a rent drop box for my roommates. This is awesome because I don’t have any problems with having to find the key. I previously had the same exact looking box but it was with a key. The problem with that is, I would have to go look for where I hid the key bring it out, then open it and put the key back. This is so easy with just a combination. It was very easy to install. I put it on my door so when my tenant open the door, they could just drop it there. It’s inside my house not outside.It’s sturdy for what its purpose is. it’s not super thick metal but I didn’t expect that I had one before and it’s the same exact way. I think it’s perfect and I’m gonna get a lot of use out of it. The code is a three digit code so that’s pretty easy to remember. I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for this type of item.

I got this for a secure home mail box but the slot is too small for a variety of mail sizes. The box is fine and looks sturdy, just not what I needed. More suited for an application where there will be smaller sized envelopes. Does not fit an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper.

I got this to hang on the wall at my office for my employees to do their money dropped each evening. This box was simple to install doesn’t take up much space and holds a good amount of small envelopes. My only concern is that if we had a lot of coin that day, they have to kind of wiggle it or shove it in. But the best part is, I don’t need a key!

A simple combination lock, very sturdy, and easy to install.

I got this box to be used as a check drop off for association members. It is under our front step awning and staying fairly dry, but I have it laying flat with slot facing out so rain will not get inside. It is lightweight and easy to take inside but heavy enough to not blow away. I labeled the box and did have to put arrows to show where the slot is as some did not see where to put their envelope. The combination feature is nice but it was difficult to change A to B to set the lock combination. Little pricey at $36.

I ordered this locking comment box to serve as the mailbox at a youth summer camp--it allows the campers to drop in notes to be delivered to other campers but not to mess with or read the notes dropped in by others. The locking mechanism is sturdy and it was easy to reset it to the combination of our choice. The slot is just wide enough to fit a stuffed envelope or folded piece of paper, but not fingers of any size--just what we wanted! The price is fantastic for what you get--I looked around and anything more elaborate than this was much more expensive.

This seems really sturdy and should work really well.
