Light and robust, I’ll trust it to dig out what I want to dig out

I ordered this fork based on the good reviews and I’m really pleased with it. It’s super lightweight which was the main reason for ordering it. I suffer from arthritis in my hands and using my heavier garden fork was causing me problems. This is far more comfortable to use. It’s also amazingly strong. I’ve used it a lot now and had absolutely no issues. It even deals with our heavy clay soil. I think it’s robust because it’s made in one piece so there is no separate handle to bend and break. It’s also a sort of plastic so it doesn’t rust and washes off easily. The prolongs are quite sharp and I should mention that you do have to sign for this delivery as an over 18 . I’m really pleased with this and wouldn’t hesitate to order other tools in this range.

This feels so strange in the hand to use. It's so lightweight yet strong but something just feels wrong, the handle is one width and I feel you can't grip it as well. Yes that's being picky and it won't stop me using it

Brilliant for metal detecting because it contains no metal. Strong enough to dig with. Easy to carry and easy to store away.

Superb and really lightweight trowel. I have very small hands but this is a perfect size - it isn't overly big and feels balanced & easy to use. Perfect for a lady user. That said it's tough enough for serious digging.It has a good edge for moving through soil and although lightweight, it feels sturdy and strong and doesn't bend, as you may believe from the appearance and weight of it. Easy to clean. Works very well indeed.The only small complaint I may have is that the hole in the end of the handle, can get uncomfortable pressing into the heel of your hand if you're doing a lot of "heavy" digging.

The fork itself seems very solid and lightweight, however upon receiving it the orange handle top cap was missing. Not sure if this was due to damage in transit during delivery as the parcel was damaged upon receipt, or if it was sent like it. Not worth the hassle sending back as the fork is still useable.

Easy to hold and great for planting and small digging.Although it's dark black in colour it has a bright orange tip to handle you you can easy find it when left on the ground. Purchased as a replacement for a traditional metal trowel which kept bending at the wooden handle when using in hard soil. The Fiskars is solid and made as one piece which overcomes this problem. It should last a lifetime. It won't rust either as its made from high tech / high grade plastic that is similar to carbon fiber. It can be sharpened if blunted in stoney ground. You really can't go wrong with this quality product.

Ik vond mijn dure schepje niet (het lag verstopt onder 50 liter bodemverbeteraar.... En kocht snel snel een goedkoop ding (ik wist dat mijn schepje ergens in de tuin lag, maar had 174 plantjes te planten, en 3 dagen later ging het onweren. Ik had nog een duur schepje liggen, en begon alvast met planten. Dat ging erg traag : het putje brokkelde steeds af, en ik kon weinig volume per steek uitdiepen. De volgende middag leverde Amazon dit schepje (andere beoordeling "plastic..."), en ik kreeg het dubbel van de plantjes per uur in de grond, in mooie stevige plantgaten. Mijn dure oude metalen schepjes, waar de aarde steeds bleef aanplakken, krijgen een rustplaatsje in de metaalcontainer :-)

Lightweight and quite strong. Bonus: does not rust or rot.I have another one (harder and heavier, made of stainelss steel) for more powerful occasions.
