Any ideas?** A: What I did was to put the whole part containing the rubber into a cup of hot water. After a short time take it out and you should find it will go in a lot easier. Take care with part after you take it out of the hot water the metal part will be very hot. **Q: What size are the spikes on hinges? I need ones that are 1.7 mm** A: Go elsewhere this one feels cheap. Moves around alot **Q: Is the lid ok to sit on.** A: It's a little flimsy, not really designed to sit on. If your disabled or a little old, maybe get something a bit firmer if your going to sit on lid **Q: what size are spikes? I need one 0.39 in** A: Yes, I would say the diameter is about 4mm. ## Frequently Bought Together - Mass Dynamic White Toilet Seat with Soft Close Toilet Seat, One Button Quick Release for Easy Cleaning, Easy Top Fix Standard O Shape (460mm x 370mm) - Ram® White Soft Close Toilet Seat with Quick Release for Easy Clean Loo Toilet Seat with Adjustable Hinges Standard O Shape Toilet Seat - Ibergrif M34152 Silicone Toilet Brushes & Holders, Deep Cleaner, Toilet Brush with Quick Drying Holder Set for Bathroom --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ph/products/61939403-mass-dynamic-soft-close-toilet-seat-white-plastic-loo-seat](https://www.desertcart.ph/products/61939403-mass-dynamic-soft-close-toilet-seat-white-plastic-loo-seat) --- *Product available on Desertcart Philippines* *Store origin: PH* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
