Quality Machining Makes Quality Coffee Grinds
An excellent hand grinder at a fair price. It's solidly built out of stainless steel, and the weight inspires confidence that it will survive our chaotic household. Set it to preferred your preferred grind size and crank away. You'll get the same grind every time. It makes it easy to make consistent espresso. It's also small enough to tuck away into a kitchen corner and become unnoticeable, which is perfect for my small apartment kitchen. Instructions leave a small amount to be desired as some of the markings on the grinder are unexplained, but it is intuitive enough that it doesn't matter.

$100 grinder with $200+ features
This grinder is THE ultimate grinder in the $100 price range. 16 microns per click, extremely smooth grinding (unless you’re grinding light roast espresso, in which case you should probably be using an electric grinder or attach a drill to this) and a pleasure to use. Great for everything from espresso to French press and everything in between. I haven’t had to disassemble yet, but it seems easy enough from what I’ve seen. Note that your true zero and what shows zero on the external adjustment might be different (my true zero is -2, so if I set my grind to 60 it’s really at 58). This grinder makes it easy to dial in your beans, and has excellent burr geometry and build quality. Only downside is they were forced to change their handle to the straight version, but not a big deal. You cannot find another grinder of this quality at this price range. This beats out the Timemores in this price and other competitors. Unless you’re willing to dish out $250 for a 1zpresso K-Ultra, you can’t beat this beast of a grinder. Note that they are coming out with a K7, but I still opted for this as I am not a fan of magnetic catch cups (I’m too clumsy).

An inarguably superb, affordable, manual grinder!
I'm thrilled with this grinder. It's so easy to use, and my coffee tastes better. This is my first decent hand grinder so I can't make any comparisons. But quality of the manufacturing is flawless. And It works so perfectly. I chose it because it's one of the cheaper grinders recommended by Lance Hedrick on his youtube channel and I didn't have a lot to spend. Since grind is one of the absolutely critical factors that determines if your coffee tastes good or not, the existence of this wonderful grinder means that many more of us can afford to level up our coffee experience. With this grinder, I also bought James Hoffmann's book, which I highly recommend, if coffee means more to you than the sum of it's caffeine. I brew with an an Aeropress (also highly recommended). Before this I used a (hundred dollar) Capresso electric grinder. That plus the Aeropress meant that I was no longer forced to pay the obscenely high presses at the espresso shop to have a decent coffee experience. I estimate that switch has saved me almost ten-thousand dollars over the last seven years. I used the Capresso grinder till the motor brushes wore out. I was determined not to replace it with a like product. I wanted to upgrade to a grinder good enough for espresso (I plan on getting a lever press). The electric options were all way too expensive for me. My research revealed that manual grinders are about half to a third the price for the same grind quality. Thanks to Lance Hedrick, I was able to zero in on this grinder. One of the things that attracted me to it was that it's design allows you to easily power it with a drill. But now that I have experienced how marvelously the hand crank works, I know I will never bother to reach for a drill. In fact, I think a good manual grinder is superior to an electric unless you need an espresso grind (more time, more work to grind the same amount of beans). The reasons are, the device takes up almost no space, it's satisfying and easy to use and there's zero mess. In conclusion, recommend this grinder without reservation. If you've never experienced a quality manual grinder, get this and you will think you have gone to coffee heaven.

Espresso ready in 30-45 seconds
This is an amazing grinder and a beast. It’s quick to grind a 18g double shot of espresso. It does require a little effort, but it’s not bad at all. I’ve used this grinder with multiple roasts from medium to dark with no issues at all. The shots are always very consistent even without having to worry about my crank speed or angle. The rubber in the middle makes it grip easy while grinding the beans. There are 240 clicks and I’ve found most of my espresso hits the 1:2 ratio - in 30 seconds of brew time - anywhere between 28-35 clicks. Having the click adjustment on the outside is super convenient. I can already tell it’s going to be durable, but don’t clean it with any water or rust is likely. Skip the expensive auto grinders, get a little workout and save the counter space. This K6 is the way to go.

Amazing brilliant grinder for the price. Made out off metal, super sturdy, looks clean, super easy to use, comes with a brush. Very easy to store away, handle comes away to make it very portable. Grind quality for all settings is spot on, keeps the coffee beans tasting fresh.

From the sleek tactility of its aluminum and steel construction, to the satisfying click as you dial in your grind setting like a jewel thief expertly opening a safe, it's all there in the time and energy Kingrinder put in to the K6. All of it serving the aesthetic pour-over bliss marriage of obsessive Western consumerism and the Japanese penchant for diving down a rabbit hole of meticulousness that is pour-over subculture. I even like the slightly primitive 'crack' of the beans as I crank the handle like a gambling addict working a one-armed bandit.
