Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles

I never watched this installment of the series, and do recall enjoying the first two. I had a chance to watch the first two recently and picked this one up at the same time and just finished watching it.We start out in Australia with a chance for Mick, Sue & Mikey (their son) to visit Los Angeles where Sue will work for her father on a temporary basis. Mick & Mickey manage to "stop" traffic (literally) and then the 3 of them tour a movie studio while Sue seeks an interview with a producer who is in the process of making films that appear to make very little money.Whereas the first two films were more about romance the third film is definitely a comedy. I liked it if only because it's more "Crocodile Dundee". It was both funny and entertaining. Trying not to give the plot away, but if you liked the first two movies you'll like this one (to get more of the same, something different, some more laughs) and it ties up a few loose ends. I wish there was a 4th installment.

To be honest I liked Part's 1 & 2 .. Never knew that there was a 3rd one . There were a few familiar faces from the 1st and second . Filming in Los Angeles and Australia was a given .. instead of some tiny town to save on location fees and permit's . That was made to look like both instead?.. In this version it had that cheap look .. and what was missing actor John Meillon .. He sadly died in Aug 1989 .. from Cirrhosis of the live at the age of 55 years . Part's 1 and 2 where shot in the 1980's .. while this movie was released in April 2001. This was before the attacks on the World Trade center on Sept 11,2001. Actor's Steve Rackman,Gerry Skilton and Alec Wilson all make a return .. What I found delightful was the time that Paul Hogan's character spent with his on screen son.. and the appearance of former heavy weight boxer .. Mike Tyson in the park in Beverly Hills,California ..was funny. I wonder is this were the late Steve Irwin got the idea to become a television star ..? Well anyway I like the movie .. but it has a few dip's ... in the story-line . Paul Hogan who married Linda Kozlaowski for 23 years .. divorced years ago. She is retired from acting but she did give him a son named Chance .. who's 25 years old. She has remarried to an middle eastern businessman . The Crocodile Dundee series will always be a favorite of mine ..

I am no "Siskel and Ebert" and I have no degrees or experience in cinema; therefore, my reviews are always strictly my own opinion(s). That being said, you just can't go wrong with the Dundee series of movies. Hogan, with his incredible mannerisms, facial expressions, and seeming "innocence" in these movies are, I believe, impossible for anybody to mimic. How Hogan manages to make movies that are virtually guaranteed to make you roar with laughter while at the same time being so "clean" (without nudity, without gratuitous sex, and without foul language thrown about in every sentence) is simply amazing. Sure, there are SOME things that would be inappropriate for a very young child to see/hear, but overall these films are highly family-friendly...especially considering what one has to choose from nowadays.

I love this movie, arrived in great condition completing my Dundee collection.

I used it for my personal use, still have my VCR, for time seeing the movie

The other movies he made were much better
