Love my new freezer.
I’m really pleased with this freezer. It arrived safely and was in perfect condition. The delivery driver helped me lift it inside my hallway …superstar. I was then able to slide it into the kitchen. I checked it over and everything was as expected. We removed the packaging and the instructions stated to leave it standing a couple of hours before plugging in. You plug it in and set the temperature…there’s a little plastic key to assist with this. I set it to between 3 and 4 to get it cold quickly. It states in warm weather this can take up to 4 hours …2 hours if it’s cold weather. We left it 4 hours and moved the frozen food into it. ( stored in our old freezer). Everything worked perfectly. I have since turned the thermostat down to just below 3 as the ice cream was so hard I couldn’t dish it up. I’ve found the new setting to be perfect. You do have to leave gaps around this freezer for it to work properly ( the same with all freezers). This was the one strange thing in the instructions. It states you need a 30 cm gap above the freezer…very odd since it’s sold as an under counter freezer. I reckon that the same instructions are issued for small freezers and larger fridge freezers…hence the confusion. Anyway it’s working perfectly. It’s energy rating is E which is pretty standard for this type. It’s very white in colour and looks really smart. When empty it’s not too heavy so easy to move into place and at 55 cm wide it’s a perfect fit. When running it’s surprising quiet to the point where we don’t really notice it. In conclusion I definitely recommend this freezer. It isn’t a make I’m familiar with but I’m really happy I bought it.

Nice freezer, but went wrong after 7 months.
A good size, nice looking, and I was really pleased with it. Actually wanted a self defrosting one, but the only ones with this facility were the big fridge freezers - we have one already (old, fingers crossed that it will keep going), and have not got room for another. Before buying I asked 'the community' about the frequency of needing to defrost, and the answers were favourable - average about once every six months, even when kept in a garage. From the start we had to defrost it about once a month, but as long as we kept on top of it, it didn't take long. Now 7 months later, it defrosted itself overnight and ruined a freezer full of food. The compartments were full of condensation, and the bottom compartment had stalactites hanging from the bottom where somehow it was still freezing. On opening the door, we saw that the door seal had come away at the top of the door. We pushed it back in place, and the freezer quickly frosted up, with 'snow' and frost forming in the compartments. The 30 year old 2nd/3rd hand freezer we had before had a very strong 'suck' on the door, so we thought the fact that this one opened very easily, was because it was more modern. In retrospect it may have had a not very efficient door seal from day one, although I can't say for sure. But we can't risk the seal coming away at any random time, resulting in food defrosting. Also now it seems to have gone mad in that it is frosting up in a matter of a few hours.Amazon as always were very good about accepting a return - the guys picked it up today and a refund is scheduled. Unfortunately had to buy a replacement elsewhere - self defrosting this time - as it seems almost impossible to get an under the counter frost free one now. A shame that the freezer malfunctioned, as it was a nice size and a good price.
