I bought these as a helmet liner. Quite thin material which fits under the helmet easily but doesn't add a lot of warmth under a regular bicycle helmet, not really windproof - probably better as a layer under a fully enclosed helmet. Also not precisely shaped so doesn't stay in place as well as it might, tends to wrinkle a little and slip up off the ears a bit. Fine for the price.
