SGT KNOTS 550 Paracord Mesh Bag - Quality, Reusable Polyester Bag for Gym, Laundry, Swimming

I have a very unique need for this type of bag. I needed a better way to organize my clothes in my duffel bag when camping. It's difficult to rummage around in a duffel bag at night with limited lighting trying to find your thermals. Then come morning, when you're trying to find your daytime clothes and the mess you made the night before trying to find your thermals is making it impossible to find what you're looking for! There are some very expensive "packing cubes" that other manufacturers sell, but if you were to put them in your bag completely empty, you'll see that the cubes themselves take up quite a bit of space because of the material used for them. These bags are simply PERFECT! I bought one of each color to segment the clothes I need when camping. Here is exactly what I packed in each bag in the attached photo:Red - Heavier weight weather base layer top and bottom. Medium weight top base layer. Light weight top base layer. Room for more!Orange - One pair of North Face hiking/camping shorts. Could easily accommodate 4 pair of shorts at least.Black - Thermal long sleeved shirt. Cable knit sweater leggings. Room for more! (The purpose of this bag is my PJs for cold weather.)Green - Three pairs of hiking/camping pants (Prana, Columbia and Kuhl). Bag is full but not tight. No room for any additional items.Blue - Two cold weather hats (knit and faux fur lined), two neck gators, one lightweight scarf, one heavier knit scarf. Could easily accommodate a couple pairs of gloves.The quality of these bags is great. They are not cheap at all and the drawstring and closure are good quality as well. They are better quality than a mesh laundry bag I have.The ONLY complaint is very trivial. It's that the orange and the red bags are very close in color and would be difficult to distinguish in low light in a tent. But I will just pack smarter and perhaps those two bags will contain similar items.Extremely happy with this purchase!

If you are unaware that you should NEVER use your sleeping bag's stuff sack for long-term storage, then let me explain. The stuff sack is designed to compress your sleeping bag as much as possible in order to make it easier to pack. However, when left in the stuff sack, your bag will lose much of its loft and insulation value. because of how tightly it is compressed. The proper size SGT KNOTS Mesh Bag allows you to store your bag for long periods of time and not harm it What is the proper size? Roll your sleeping bag up LOOSELY and measure the diameter of the roll, then multiply that number by 3.14 (Pi) and you will have the circumference of the SGT KNOTS Mesh Bag that you need. But the mesh bags are not sized by circumference. They are measured by width and length, so divide your circumference number by 2 and you will have the width of the bag you need. Measure your loosely rolled sleeping bag longways, and you will have the proper length. Example:My loosely rolled bag had a circumference of 15", 15 x 3.14 = 47.1. 47.1 divided by 2 = 23.55, so a 24" width mesh bag was the right width. My loosely rolled sleeping bag was 30 " long, so the 24" x 30" SGT KNOTS Mesh Bag was absolutely perfect!This product has many, many uses other than sleeping bag storage and appears to be made to last. I highly recommend it.

Love the 24x30 bag! I used it for the first time this weekend. Tossed in clothing, a pillow, and other stuff. My pack weighed a good bit but bag showed no signs of weakness or damage. Another thing, other than saving weight or drying out wet clothing, you can find WHERE your items are in the stuff bag rather than needing to dig through a typical bag trying to find one item.UPDATE: I used my first purchase when traveling. It worked great in my checked bag to keep things in place after the November flight chaos with TSA not securing the straps in my bag.. No problems with security. I also just purchased another bag, their 24x36 to use. Being the first one has held up I'm going to be pleased with this product line.

This is a well made yet affordable solution for that nagging question: how am I going to organize all these little things? There is a nice selection of both sizes and colors available. The quality is very good. I like both the paracord drawstring and the lightweight yet strong mesh of the bag. I bought two, one for carrying a set of small bluetooth speakers and their charger/cables (always a hassle to keep these kinds of things together and portable) and another for managing my collection of various USB cables. Now that I know about these, I think I'll probably find more uses for them and purchase others in the future.

I couldn't understand how a simple mesh bag could garner such strong reviews, or how any reviewer could care enough about a simple bag to take the time. Until I received the bag. I know, folks, this is just a bag, but it's a reminder of what Attention to Detail can produce. Great "hand feel" due to the size of the threads and shininess of the fabric, holes which seem to me to be Just Right for both appearance and ventilation, and a strong cord with a plastic slider spring lock. I bought the red one in the smallest size to hang new, clean rags on the back porch so I wouldn't have to go outside to the garage, a small but meaningful convenience in the rainy Northwest. Didn't mind the price at all, considering the bag is made in the USA. I'm ordering another bag.

This was the third of three bags that I purchased to use as a laundry bag for trips overseas. Looks very well made. I haven't tried to do a load with it yet. I purchased the largest size and be aware that it is huge. It's more than enough to handle my family's laundry for at least 2 weeks. I don't think you could fill it as it would be impossible to carry. Works out great for us. The smaller second bag that I purchased was to use a a laundry bag in the washer since it is much more manageable. Love the color choices! If you went through USMC boot camp in the early 90's, this bag will bring back memories.

Perfect mesh bag for my needs! I needed a bag to put my Elite Rings 360 Olympic Rings into so I can pack them in a format that is clean and tidy. This did the trick nicely and it feels like a good sturdy material. Happy with my purchase!
