****UPDATE RE LONGEVITY - Of the 20 of these I've purchased, I've replaced 8 of them within 5 months. The illumination just died in 7 of them, there was barely any light. In the 8th, it just continued to trip the fuse after 5 minutes of light time. Replaced the bulb for a nearby store bought bulb and no issues. After purchasing 20 of these bulbs I now need to replace all of them. **** Just received a pack of 10 this week. So far so good. Used in garden spot lights and give a nice warm glow around the lighted areas. So far they are good value for money. Can’t comment on longevity or efficiency but can only expect both the high. Plan to purchase another 10 to replace existing halogens around the house. Only one thing I would say, it is would be helpful if these bulbs came with a little suction cap to help with fitting into light unit. But this is not a negative.

If only I had worn my sunglasses at night, then I would have been able to keep the vision of my eyes. Unfortunately after connecting these bulbs into the spotlight bar, and switching on, the lack of sunglasses meant I could see the light before my eyes. It was bright. So bright I was blinded by the light. It also managed to reach all the dark area, so the vampire that used to stand in the corner behind the door was burned from the outside and left nothing but a a pile of ash. I should have listened to the teenage diplomat, but I was feeling older (and wiser). Turns out he was right. I now have such a well lit kitchen that pilots use it as a reference point to orient to the local airfield.

Good price and good quality

I bought these to replace 6 tiltable halogen spotlights in the kitchen which were starting to die. Compared with these (mixture of 20 and 35W) the LEDs are fantastic and much less orange in spectrum by comparison. The wife says it is now a pleasure to work in the kitchen and should have been replaced years ago. We went for natural white (4000°K) comparable with horizon daylight from the sun (5000°K) and slightly warmer than overhead daylight (6000°). Taking the decor into account we find it BRIGHT but comfortable and great to work in. The defuser adds another 10p per bulb and a slightly convex surface which sticks well to the suction cup tool for fitting. I got these to avoid any obvious pooling of light and, to be honest, to reduce the light output as they were already twice as bright as the halogens. I would say the beam angle is more like 180° rather than the 100° (or is it 120°?) stated, judging by the pattern in the ceiling. If we used them 7 hours a day all year they should last 6 years. We’ll see! Very happy so far.

Used these for the kitchen and the 5W is a good level of brightness. Good colour tending to ‘white’. The wide angle is great for coverage and the frosting stops centralised beam effects. Very pleased with these bulbs. Life-time still to be tested!

I bought my "10 X Sanlumia 5W GU10 LED super bright spotlight bulb 400lm 120 Degree Beam Angle Frosted Diffuser Non Dimmable 50W Halogen Equivalen Warm White 3000K" pack in July 2018 and replaced 5 spots in my home so far. They all work well except 1 that start blinking 1 week after and brightness start to decrease after 2 weeks. I reported the problem to Sharon from Sanlux Co Ltd. I received 3 replacements spots few working days later but most of them are not lasting. 4 of them strat blinking in the next 3 months and just died few weeks later. Not good quality. I won't recommend them and won't buy this brand again.

Originally I bought the cool white, this was my mistake as it was too bright for the kitchen, I then bought a box of the natural white with frosted diffuser early December 2018, these are much better in our kitchen. On Saturday 6th April, I noticed that 1 of the lights had gone very dim compared to the others, and 1 of them started flashing before it packed up, both of these need replacing after only 4 months The 6 others that are fitted are running fine, but will see how long they last as dubious about the 25000 hours average life span stated. For this price, I will buy another box of 10

Was very pleased with these when we initially bought them in the March, they give a very white light which was ideal for cooking! Having used them for a best an hour over the last seven months we have already had to replace three of the bulbs as they have simply stopped working so whilst I like the light from them there is no longevity to them and for this reason I would no longer recommend them

Forse, forse pensavo di aver preso dei faretti led per risparmiare qualche euro e invece mi son ritrovato con un prodotto di ottima fattura e qualità di gran lunga superiore a ogni mia più rosea aspettativa. Lampade led perfette nella luminosità e fascio di luce. Costo basso ma tanta, tanta qualità. SUPER CONSIGLIATO!!!

Habiendo leído algun comentario de este producto, hice el pedido con un cierto temor, motivo que me ha llevado a desembalar cada una de la lámaras y probarlas inmediatamente, con el resultado de que todas han funcionado correctamente. Creo que no le puedo encontrar ningún aspecto negativo. No valoro la durabilidad porque todavía no la conozco, pero puedo decir, desde mi punto de vista, que tiene los siguientes puntos a favor: - Se aprecia una calidad del material sólida - La carcasa no es de plástico - La luz es gratamente difuminada - Cada lámpara viene muy bien empaquetada, de forma individual - El precio, con el nivel de calidad apreciado, es insuperable
